Iceland Babek Doner Kebab Meat

Recommended Posts

I've never bought any food from Iceland but have been meaning to go in and pick some of this up just to test it. Love normal kebabs if it's a half decent take away.

The thing I'm dreading the most is I bet you have to microwave the stuff.

yip.. takes two long minutes to cook..

"Pulling what looked like frozen leather soles out of the bag gave me an overwhelming sense of trepidation. I literally could not have been more wrong. My Babek Kebab was by far the best thing I have ever eaten. Simply dreamy"

I like Turkish Dave.

"Bab"ylon

I'd heard a lot of good things about the Iceland Babek Kebab meat so thought I'd give it a try. For an authentic trial I went out with the lads and smashed ten pints, then came home to start preparing a feast of delicious authentic Turkish 'babs. Pitta, shredded lettuce, onion, garlic mayo and a whole naga chilli, boom. The experience was complete especially when I woke up to find half of my tasty post night out treat down the front of my shirt. Good job Iceland!

Firstly I never go into Iceland unless its for their frozen seafood, which is really good and priced so cheap...

anyway last night i was in there and noticed this bag of frozen doner meat for £2 so i bought one and ate it whilst watching the cricket today.  basically made my own kebabs! and it was sooo nice, even better tasting than the takeaways near me

im gonna get some more! anyone else had it ? amazed how good and cheap it was!

I like Iceland, for certain things. I might give that a try.

If you can get 600g of 'meat' (I use the word loosely) for £2 then you should be worried

or excited
