willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Dodoo's debut hat trick must be a very rare sight, who else has done it. There are a few who have done it when moving club but to do it in your first game !!!! I can only think of Shearer for Southampton so he is in good company.

ScouseFox Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 oh yeah didnt read the bit about it not being about debut hat tricks but being about a hat trick in your first ever game
Staffs Fox Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Didn't Robbie Fowler get 5 on his full debut??
Captain... Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 Schlupp did it on his professional debut for us, but had played for Brentford on loan. Dodoo scored a hat-trick on his first ever competitive professional appearance. Shearer scored a hat-trick on his full debut, but had already made one appearance as a sub.
FireFox Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 On the OS: Dodoo’s third goal came as a result of some instinctive play from Academy graduate Jeff Schlupp, who raced in to pinch the ball of goalkeeper Christian Walton before teeing up Dodoo. It was a classy touch from the Ghana international, who also scored a treble on his debut in the same competition four years ago. Reflecting on the moment he received the pass from Schlupp, Dodoo added: “I didn’t expect to get it from Jeff to be fair, because I thought he was going to score by himself, but I’m very thankful to Jeff for passing to me. “When the ball came, I knew I had to just shoot as quickly as possible because I was getting closed down. It went in, and it was just the best feeling ever. “To be fair to Jeff he’s very happy for me. He’s been very supportive. He told me at half-time to go for another one and then go for the hat-trick and I was very happy to do that.”
