Migrants - What's the answer?

One ****ing Thousand of these immigrants got together and organised going out to sexually assault and r@pe women, and people turn a blind eye because a handful did a nice thing? Really? That's one huge carpet you've got right there, to sweep that under. Jesus!

This sort of thing will become more common, the people who want to see this continent totally change will stop at nothing to achieve it no matter how bad it gets, ideological maniacs with little understanding of history or young people with no clue what they are letting themselves in for.

OK you have convinced me. We should round up all the refugees and put them in a prison camp. Maybe stamp them with a number.

Or maybe they should first catch those responsible.

Jesus Christ. You simply have to be trolling, no one can actually be this stupid.

It seems that way. I can imagine this happening in more and more cities at large scale events now. It's set the bar and unless something is done, others will see it as the norm and follow suit. First Finland, now Germany in two huge cities. Where next, how many places does it need to take place and how many people must get assaulted before people actually say 'shit, that's pretty bad, we can't keep turning a blind eye'?

Oh come off it now. How about you tell us what you actually think on this subject, instead of just saying 'well some nice people did something nice', or using ridiculous statements like above. Genuinely, what do you think about the story?

When you read some of the things people write on here it's not hard to see how things like Rotherham could happen.......

"Boss we've had numerous reports of young Asian men seeking out young girls to drug, beat, rape and pass around their friends, it sounds pretty horrific"

"Well what do you me to do, round up every Muslim and throw them in a prison camp"

"No boss but surely we should investigate this"

"Yeah and while we do that I suppose you want me to close down every mosque and taxi rank do you, did you not watch the news yesterday, the Iqbal brothers went and painted a fence in Rochdale, you're suspended pending a diversity course, bloody kipper"

I  am not saying that there is not a problem just that I am not blaming them all. How hard is that to understand. I just feel some of the reaction is a teeny weeny over the top.

I am sure I am not the only one that feels this but unfortunately I am the only one online ATM to respond.

I am done with it and need to go out.

As far as I can see, not a single person has blamed every single immigrant for what happened. It seemed, however, that your first reaction was to jump to the defence of the people that did it, when there wasn't a need to do so. What is so over the top about what has been said? No one has said round them up and shoot them, or ban all immigrants, or anything of the sort. I mentioned that the open border policy Germany used, looks stupid now, and Jon mentioned that perhaps our own approach here, doing it the right way and taking refugees from proper camps, seems a much better idea.

There is something very sinister going on and some of the pro-refugee groups will stop at nothing to see the changes they want, even if it means covering up rape.

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/10/06/no-borders-activist-gang-raped-migrants-pressured-silence-not-damage-cause/

A young, female ‘No Borders’ activist working in a migrant camp on the France-Italy border remained silent about her gang rape by Sudanese migrants for over a month because “the others asked me to keep quiet.”

Colleagues are alleged to have said that reporting the crime would set back their struggle for a borderless world.

The ‘No Borders’ activist had dedicated a month of her life to helping migrants. Her group was stationed between Italy and France in Ponte San Ludovico in Ventimiglia when the atrocity occurred, according to reports from local papers La Stampa and Il Secolo XIX, and now reported in the major Italian national Corriere Della Serra.

If it's true, that's absolutely horrific. What thought processes go through someone's mind which say's it's ok to force a gang rape victim to shut up 'for the cause'. Sickening.

That is wrong. It should not be covered up.

Pleasantly surprised.

Whilst in no way diminishing the seriousness of the crimes that were committed, the thing that first struck me was the astonishing ingratitude of these people.

Disgusting.

I hope they have good CCTV. The unfortunate thing is, if caught, it will cost the tax payer thousands to prosecute and detain them. They should be deported and imprisoned in their own country. I am sure it would be cheaper to contribute towards the running of a prison in their country, than in Germany. We are building a new prison in Jamaica so we can send back criminals.

It's really hard to have a black or white answer to this. But one thing is for sure.... They have done the innocent genuine asylum seekers a world of harm in gaining acceptance and trust.

Whats the answer? Ban all Asylum seekers?  Can't agree to that personally. Limit asylum seekers to family units ( parents and children) hmm. Not sure. But it carries more weight than a total ban.

The UK will take genuine refugees that have gone through the process in the camps. If they arrive illegally and then seek asylum, process them in a secure place until we know who they are. They would have been in a camp anyway if they were processed properly.

I guess i just hate whats happened and hate the fact it will give cretinous organisations like Britain first and EDL fuel to fan their own flames... It's just an ugly situation all round....

Agree with that.

I am guessing if the "1000" they are looking for currently have not been through the correct processing and have not been caught on any cctv then being charged with anything is highly unlikely or even impossible?

Masses of people are sexually assaulted and the first thing some worry about is that the EDL might gain from it?

I get the feeling some people might need to access their priorities, if you don't want the far right to gain from migrants causing meyhem then perhaps your first thought should be to try and make sure migrants don't cause meyhem.

This is what concerns me. I think the perpetrators of the crimes should not be associated with the genuine refugees. It is an insult to the refugees to call them the same. As for covering up the rapes, this is nothing new. It goes on  worldwide even in the UK. Families cover it up for daughters because of the 'shame' So it is not only covering up on this occasion that is wrong.

I trust the ones will be caught and punished and the process will not involve scapegoating.

I  do not condone or defend the actions at all. They do not deserve the help being offered by organisations and individuals across Europe and the World. I trust this clears up any misunderstanding regarding my views.

Stop being a Tw*t! this thread is about immigrants and so thats what most of the comments are going to be about isnt it? immigration! and the effects of it.

It's a huge conclusion to jump to saying its one of the first things people think about.

God, you embarrass yourself sometimes.

The thread is about the migrant crisis actually, not immigration per se which would probably appear in the politics thread.

From what I've read the police seem to believe they weren't new arrivals.

That is why I was not jumping to conclusions and not labeling them. As far as I am aware they would only be suspects and it would be unclear as to how many were new arrivals. I may be wrong though.
