Although could easily be a diamond with inler holding and drinkwater Kante just in front of him. Either way it'll be important to defend down our left. They'll have Johnson and Shaqiri attacking that side. Given the ability of Bojan / Shaqiri I think Kante and our deepest lying midfielder (probably Inler) will have to play seriously well to stop them.

Number 6 Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Not sure about that selection at all. Would have gone like for like Kanté and Ulloa in for Inler and Okazaki. We won't have much ball today, got to break quickly. Think out and out wingers either side would have aided that.

Think we can get at Stoke though, no Shawcross, N'Zonzi gone & Diouf out as well, their spine has been ripped apart. Have to intercept & counter well, while hopefully Inler & Kante can stop Bojan.

Witch Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Waysl is 35. He's been brilliant for us. But you can only have 7 subs. Benalouane is a direct replacement for him in every way. From what I've seen. Benny will be given the chance ahead of Waysl this season, and given time, may prove to be as good in the role. (Both are currently better than Moore) Wasyl is 35 but that does not mean he is too bad to even sit on a bench, FFS. And still, he is much better player than Benny, who is brainless.
