AKCJ Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 Had a burger at the emirates earlier this year that was so good it felt like Rachel Riley was noshing me off. You're not eating it right.
boots60 Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 Preston & Burnley have dished out some unedible pies over the years. "The best pies are up north" is an absolute myth. The best I've had in England would be the grub at Norwich, no doubt hand baked by Delia!
Weller in Tights Posted 14 October 2015 Author Posted 14 October 2015 lol And why is FOOD IN CAPITALS? I had to shout it Col after my earlier mistake
Dennis118555 Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 Went up to Middlesbrough, must have been about 98/99ish, stopped in a b&b for the night. We got a very wafty Chinese takeaway and took it back to the digs. It was that bad we lofted it out the window into the street below. It landed on one of the many parked cars outside. Trouble was, it landed on the one belonging to the b&b owner, who was sat in his front room at the time! Cue a bang on our room door, insisting if we didn't clean it up we were out.
Karljohn Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 Had a hotdog at Palace one year, never again. They were dreadful, had one when we played Wimbledon at Selhurst in the league cup semi. Lobbed it at Andy Gray up in the TV Gantry in the Arthur Wait stand. The smell resembled a dog crap bin on a hot day.
Unabomber Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 The pie I had at Norwich when we won in the fa cup was great.
(.) (.) Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 There's some cracking pubs at Piccadilly Station. Wetherspoons in Stoke is decent.
Nalis Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 Some of the Pukka Pies at the KP dont look the most appetising.
Mike Oxlong Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 Spice Bazzar on Welford Road before an evening game was a rather palatable pre-match experience.
BrummieFOX Posted 16 October 2015 Posted 16 October 2015 Best pie I've had by far was Huddersfield away. Worst was a burger at Villa Park. So bad I never get anything other than pie at a ground now.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 16 October 2015 Posted 16 October 2015 Chip shop on Gresty Road is out of this world.
fuchsntf Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 5 fish n chip shops , and 2 Indian take-aways, in Braunstone and New Parks, plus a good chip van does its rounds. Problem is getting out alive on a Saturday night.
isleofwightfox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Had an amazing Thai meal before the Bournemouth match earlier in the season. It had a few Bournemouth fans in it but the owner was a closet Top fan. Food was top notch
