CharlieCharles Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Being one of the lucky people who while being 20, could probably pass for an u16 ticket, i'm thinking about saving myself 21 quid and risking it. what are they like on the turnstiles at Goodison? I remember Everton being relaxed in regards to admission last season so you should be ok. Depends if its worth the risk though as some clubs will take the ticket off you if caught rather than force you to upgrade.
LCCFox96 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Just bought the last two tickets available on LCFC Direct. Last minute decision to go. Can't wait!
4ever and ever Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Where is everyone drinking for this. I arrive at Lime Street at 12:11
billyn88 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Slim pickings near the ground really - I'd suggest having a drink in town before heading out. The Ship and Mitre is my personal favourite and is on the right side of town before either the walk/bus/taxi to Goodison. Also, one ticket has popped up in the upper bullens if anyone's looking for one on lcfcdirect.
LcfcBaker Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 1 ticket lower tier adult. £39 will take £35. Pm me.
jash21 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Is it easy to get parking close by? Didn't bother for the sky game last season
LCCFox96 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 What's the best way to get to the ground from Liverpool Lime Street Station to the ground? Realise it's a bit of trek but my mate who usually drives isn't able to go so British Railways and a 2 mile hike it is.

Realise it's a bit of trek but my mate who usually drives isn't able to go so British Railways and a 2 mile hike it is. Three options 1. Walk - it'll take about 40 minutes 2. Taxi - a fiver or so at a guess 3. Bus - These wait outside St George's hall opposite queens square bus station - £2 one way. IMO no point doing anything other than walking to go back assuming you're fit and well enough.

Realise it's a bit of trek but my mate who usually drives isn't able to go so British Railways and a 2 mile hike it is. My mate is a STH at Everton and when I asked him he told me taxi is the best bet. I'm going taxi or bus, depends how I feel. Not walking, fvck that.
walkerleeds Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Drank in the city centre last year and paid 6 quid for a taxi which took 10 minutes.
AndWhat? Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Train from Moorfields which is just round the corner from Lime Street to Kirkdale, which takes about 10 minutes, then a 15 minute walk. Only costs 2 quid as well.
Westkirbyfox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 One ticket spare for Everton £35 face value message me.

StanSP Posted 15 December 2015 Author Posted 15 December 2015 Any away fans boozer shouts? this. any away fans gathering somewhere?
Soar Fox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Where's the best place to drink on Saturday @@ScouseFox? They'll be about 9 of us, we'll want to have breakfast somewhere then watch the football.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Couple of questions for who has been before.1. Best way to get to the ground from Lime Street and Vice Versa. Particularly as we only have about an hour from full time to get back to the station. 2. Best boozers nearish to Lime Street that are away and kid friendly 3. How bad is the 'restricted view?' I'm sitting Row M Lower tier?

They'll be about 9 of us, we'll want to have breakfast somewhere then watch the football. you getting the train in and drinking in town? depends what you want. there's standard spoons like 30 seconds from lime street an a few other of that type of place for a massive breakfast etc if you're gonna be a decent crowd, but if you want a better beer but perhaps a less "football crowd" pub then probs ship n mitre on dale street, about a five minute stroll from lime street. serves the best beers in town i'd say. definitely the best beers nearest to the station. really depends what you want though. more into the beer than the atmosphere or more into it being more of a pub than some gay hipster bar with solid enough ales.

We're more into the atmosphere than having decent beers. Lads who we go with only drink your normal Stella, Fosters, Carling so not bothered about the Ale.

Hanover Street at the bottom is usually your best bet for a black cab if that's how you plan on getting to the game. Yeah this too. can we party round yours if we win @@ScouseFox haha i'm not home for the weekend, otherwise we could've all stayed in mine for christmas in between everton and liverpool away. save the travelling .
Soar Fox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Cheers Scouse. Might head to that Irish pub and see what that's like.
Soar Fox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Oh man just had a look at that McCooleys website and they do a drink called Vardy's moonshine.
