Lost 11 out of last 16 (winning only 2) games on Boxing Day.

3rd most defeats on Boxing Day out of the English Football league.

2025 must be about the worst year we've ever had?

Close but I think 2004 was worse in terms of lack of victories.

I think this one is pretty crazy.

Leicester City are unbeaten in their last 8 games played on New Year's Day (W 7/D 1).

This is more than any other team in the top 4 divisions.

That means we're dropping points today then

Leicester have not beaten the same side by more than 3 goals in 3 consecutive matches since England won the World cup

We beat Cheltenham 4-0 home and away in that League One season - remember we were in League One you know

We have only 3 points from our last 10 midweek matches

Depends what your count as midweek I suppose - we beat Derby & West Brom on Mondays.

True, Derby one may was midweek. West Brom was the last one of weekend fixtures.

As off as Ricky has been in spells, hamza plays right back in most midweek game might tell you something.

Midweek is classed as Tuesdays - Thursdays in football statistics as Mondays and Fridays are usually part of the weekend fixtures (although occasionally you can play twice on a bank holiday weekend)

Still haven’t ’won’ a second half where we are in the lead at half time all season!

They are in a perilous position. And they don’t yet have anybody to steer them out of it. It’s now been 21 days since Marti Cifuentes was sacked and City still don’t have a new permanent manager.

Jamaal Lascelles and Abdul Fatawu injury update as duo miss Leicester City defeat to Southampton

Andy King responds to Leicester City manager questions as Blackburn result deepens crisis

Of the 35 managerial changes across the top four divisions this season, only twice have teams gone longer without an appointment. In fact, it’s arguably only one.

Southampton took 33 days to confirm Tonda Eckert as Will Still’s successor, but the German had been in caretaker charge anyway, and had won his first four games of that interim period.

For sides who didn’t end up appointing the caretaker boss, only Barrow have taken longer than City, going 23 days before announcing Paul Gallagher as boss. City will match that if they’ve not made an appointment by Tuesday.

Faith in the leadership of the club is at all-time low anyway, but this delay is seeing that trust plumb new depths. A rushed appointment is no good, but neither is a wait as long as this.

At an average age of just over 23, this was City’s youngest starting line-up in 17 years. Five of the 11 were from the academy, including three teenagers and a 21-year-old captain.

I think this is my favourite of all time.

The best part of it is, we had 8 of the top 20, so Top and Rudders looked at it and thought - I know let’s get Aribo too and completed the set 😂

According to that person.

Whilst we are probably paying way too much, it's doubtful all of those players wages are public knowledge. No doubt some correct, but many guesstimates, and not just for our players.

City conceded inside the opening 10 minutes for the 11th time this season. That’s four more times than any other side in the division. City conceded a result-changing goal in the final 15 minutes for the seventh different game this season. That’s the most in the division.
