Singha Beer Is Good!

Who had 'sense' to put preseason bets on this?!

I posted this earlier on the post match thread:

Still on course to win $60,000 AUD if we win league and top four will give me $3,000.00 - both $20 outlays! Title was @ 3001/1 and Top 4 @ 151/1.

Also have Vardy as top scorer took it for $3 @ 81/1 and $2 @ 151/1 - total $550 win.

Betting Agency (Sportsbet Australia) are now offering cash out on top 4 and Vardy as leading scorer in PL but hanging off offering cash out on title. Cashout for top 4 is now being offered at $1000.00

They're offekring to cash out the top four bet for $1,000? No way that's right.

Got a mate who put £20 on us to win the league at 5000/1 in the pre-season.

Weeks ago the missus put a couple of quid on us to be top at Christmas and another for top 4 at Christmas - stands to win about £300

Didn't occur to me to bet anything, but then if I had have put money on us to win the league no doubt we'd be about 14th place right now so you can all thank me

Vardy however won me some money when he scored against Watford, I also won some free bets - one was an acca which came in and landed me £192, was well pleased with that

5000/1? Are odds ever that high even on the relegation candidates? I thought it stretched to about 750/1 tops.

He had it on a screenshot (can't remember which bookies) and definitely legit, he's just gutted there's no cash-out option as he thinks we'll crumble any minute

Edit: it was with Skybet and it was a £10 bet, stands to win £50,010 lol

I'm not surprised we were 5,000-1 at the beginning of the season - virtually any team outside of the established 'Big 4' are offered at prices of 50-1, and figures of 100-1 +

There was more chance of seeing the Loch Ness monster but now I'm not so sure!!

As a double you would have got odds of 2.5 million to 1.

They wouldn't have let you put on that double because Vardy being top scorer would affect the odds of us winning the league.

It was on sky last night that we were 5000/1. I imagine they used skybet's odds. Not sure why anybody but Tincy would lie about it

according to oddschecker we were still 5,000/1 with skybet on the 6th october, and were still as big as 2,500/1 with the same firm the day we beat west brom away.

Pre season I bet the other sales guy at work £10 we would finish higher than Spurs. He bit my hand off and he wrote it on the sales board.

I've just asked the MD and he said yes:

If I win I can take a picture of the exchanging money and have a poster made which I can hang in the board room!

The difference between different.bookies on these markets is quite crazy to be fair. I imagine we were 1000s with some, 5000 is very generous, but then again, you couldnt see it happening in a million years.

Still 5000s in October? They must be bricking it.

I hope some headcase has banged 100 on us.

The bookies must be absolutely praying we start loosing... They will loose thousands.

I am starting to feel very loose after every win. It's the anxiety of an early season £1.00 bet on a top 4 finish.

If you imagine in order to win $3000 now he would have to bet $1043 @ the current odds of 15/8, which given the bookies margin would make it about right.

Nothing this year.

Had a bet on the Handicap League last year. Didn't really check where we finished as it worked out our 40 something point handicap wasn't enough to overhaul Chelsea.

I believe we had a similar points handicap this year and it's looking like it could be between us and Watford.
