biggs Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 .......when my dad took to me to my first game at Filbert Street back in the late 60's when David Nish was our man.....even now thinking back, the smell of the ground sticks with me
smr Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 You are not a true fan, infact you cannot class yourself as anything more than a casual supporter if you are not wearing the full kit right now while you read this. I am, you're not. You can't call yourself a true fan unless you've got a signed picture of ian ormondroyd on top of the christmas tree.
Great Boos Up Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 You stood silent for a full 15 minutes staring in absolute awe at the Carling stand thinking we're big time!
Phube Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 You don't Captain either Mahrez or Vardy in your Fantasy Football team in case you jinx them... Losing many points in the process!
Great Boos Up Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 When you see a Foxes Talk thread has been locked and rush to see who's been involved in a keyboard battle !
Izzy Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 You recognise that you actually live quite a sad existence and really should get out more when.. you see a Foxes Talk thread has been locked and rush to see who's been involved in a keyboard battle !
ceredigion Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 You know you're a Leicester supporter when we're top of the Premier League in December but you're still worried that we haven't got to 40 points yet. Never know where the next win will come from.
Hamstonian Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 As a newbie from the states and the Deep South specifically, it was when I decided last year to stick with the foxes upon certain relegation. It is hard to explain, but last spring was the most thrilling experience in sport supporting that I have ever had, bar none. The never give up fox spirit somehow penetrated this college football loving fan (Auburn for those stateside). I would never try to match the passion and depth of feeling from long time Leicester supporters, but at the same time my quickened heartbeat on Saturday mornings is real. If my passion over the last two years is even one fifth of those of longtime supporters, I feel blessed. My family doesn't understand. My next door neighbors (Chelsea fans) don't understand. Foxes never quit. I can't wait to defend the title next season....
Webbo Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 I'm quite proud of our foreign supporters. Seeing as none of them aren't local to any English team they get a free choice of who to support and I'm really pleased they choose to support us.

Our American support seems to be growing fast, great to see.

They have a greyhound racing track in Birmingham Alabama and I went with my uncle to buy a dog for stud ! Was really warm and humid but nice place
My Nads Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Seeing a jogger innocently jogging along and then hearing the Baby Squad sing "see that jogger, joggin' down the street! Kick his f***in' 'ed in, Kick his f***in' 'ed in!" then seeing the jog turn into a frantic run and then thinking it's funny because you're 10 years old and cant wait to repeat it to the next jogger you see! ...OK maybe it doesn't!

Hamstonian Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Small world. It is humid and warm right now, in December. (Unusual). Long way to go to get a dog!
Collymore Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Having Mahrez in your fantasy team from first day of the season when he was in 1% of teams now over 60% of people have him. simply watching Leicester away in the league 1 season on some dismal cold night when you're completely skint. ..and anyone who was there when we beat Preston (1-0 Johannson IIRC) away in the season before we got relegated to stay up for one more season. I celebrated the same as when Vardy scored his 11th....
Guest bss9401 Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 When you count taking your 4 year old son to his first game (against Crewe Alexandra) as one of your life's highlights.

Collymore Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Preston away Nils Eric Johansson. Wow, just wow Do you remember getting there really early and looking in the museum only to realise that it's 5 minutes worth, max!

Oxshottfox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Your first game was Leicester vs Chelsea and you were sitting in the double decker at the age of 13 and grown men were beating the hell out of each other around you wondering why you had not just stuck with tigers..
