An idea

Im going to get shot down for this but here goes anyway.

To ease the burden on the readers of this forum it would make it easier if the details of the player who we are supposedly attempting to sign are detailed in the topic title and we all follow that format.

e.g.

Vincent Aboubakar, 23, Cameron, StrikerPorto

Nigel de Jong, 31, Netherlands, Midfielder, AC Milan

Or something similar?

Cant we just have a new post in the transfer forum every time we are linked with a player.?

Brilliant!

Let's give that a shot first.. If it doesn't work we'll revert back to plan B.

Or they could simply add the wiki link on the description so thats the 1st thing ppl click get a bit of info and link of where they got the news from and of course the YouTube videos lol:ph34r:

This great forum has improved, because people have listened to other peoples ideas.

Data bases organisation, link to info have improved and developed greatly.

Wiki itself fed on the sharing of information, and developed within itself, because people listened.

Yes many of us know how to, fetch and gather info and expand it, or aware of how to collect info

from other platforms. But if nobody had, had those ideas, then there would of been no platform,

or base to expand to where we are now.Of course we can all or least some help ourselves....egoists a n d arrogance

and short memories, now believe its time to stop because its ok for them to get by on.

obviously on this forum, its up to the admins and systems to weigh up what they can fit in,

but lets not play silly buggers, or know it alls, just appreciate and welcome the ideas without

debunking them, no matter how clever you think you are...

There's nothing to stop thread starters doing that already if they want to but I don't see how you could make it compulsory. Usually there is a link to a newspaper article at the start of a thread anyway.

I agree and in the first post we should have links to all the news articles about the player and we should definitely have a YouTube montage video

Well you could could ban all those that don't follow the correct format. Exactly.

I spent 20 mins searching the web for a player called Ann Idea thinking we were interested in signing a tranny.

They only way to enforce it is to get mods to change the topic title, hopefully after a while it will catch on, but with the temporary nature of the transfer sub forum, it will probably be forgotten by the next window.

You're assuming that mods can be bothered to look up a prospective signing's age and nationality every time some rumour starts.
