Sionnach gorm Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 The most recent rumour is that Mourinho may be going to Man U. Ironically the Man City fans began to ridicule this as laughable, especially since they will be starting next year with Pep Guardiola, Mou's mortal enemy, who will "destroy Mou". I've never been a fan of Mou. Do not like his personality or consider him the greatest. But he is good. Very good. For years I held the position that Guardiola was the best in the business...that is until I saw Inter, under Mou, decimate a Barcelona side which had better players. This was clear that technically Mou is a better manager. So what will this mean for Man City? You better hope this is just a rumour, or you will become "the other Manchester" team again.
GaelicFox Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Jose is one of the great mangers of the game like him or hate him he is in the top 10 of all time Pepe well I'll be honest I trink he has failed at Munich he has not delivered Europe and it's a one team league so winning the league is no great shakes At Barca Luis Enrique has done a treble despite his management career being a flop at Roma and Celta Vigo so now it's looking like the players at barca are the special ones who win who ever is in charge Pep has been hired to win the champions league if he can't do it at munich he won't do it at man city It will be first time in his career he will manage in a league where bottom can beat top on any given weekend and every team is trying to win every game ! Jose eats Pep for breakfast if the United board back him properly But Claudio will be a serious foe for both !
Benji Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 The losers at this rate are Chelsea. Pep at City, Jose at Utd, Klopp at Liverpool and Caudio at Leicester (I jest). Chelsea need a really good appointment if they're going to bounce back next season.
darko2k7 Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Can not begin to take that post serious with you calling him "Mou" makes you sound like a old women talking about her favorite cat or something
Sionnach gorm Posted 6 February 2016 Author Posted 6 February 2016 Even though I wrote it I find your response funny. Should've gone with cat lady for a screen name!
Captain... Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 It really depends if Jose can restore his reputation, he has taken a battering this season and he may have lost some of his aura of invincibility. If de does go toUnited then all the preseason will be Pep vs Jose and that is what will dominate the league if other clubs let it. We have to show no respect for either because if they start to build a lead and create a front two early then next season will be shit.
Samilktray Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 United could have Zeus as manager and they'd still be fvcking shit. Need more than just Mourinho to return to anywhere near where they used to be.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Mourinho is thr best manager tactically in my opnion. Certainly in the big games. Always liked and rated him and would have loved him as England boss
sdb Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Shame as I think both teams will become extremely strong and stories such as ours this season will go back to being impossible rather than improbable. That said, rushing after Mourinho does now seem a little desperate from Utd given their rivals have pinched the best in the business.

bovril Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 United could have Zeus as manager I'd love to see that. "Where's the gaffer?" "He's turned himself into a swan and shagging the director's wife".
AyewJoking Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 pfft! both have had immense amounts of money to 'build' their teams so stick them with a Rotherham or a Spanish equivlent and see how they fare. Mourinho did win the CL with Porto though didnt he? (cant remember if that happened!)
GaelicFox Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Pep must be shitting himself now What a horrible bunch of mercenaries they are ! Shite fans , shite team attitude and really over inflated ideas of thier place in football Christmas tree ! Pep you tool
The Blur Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 How no one have notcied that this Sionnach Gorm fellow really sound like a Man Utd fan which I will not rule out considering recent invasion of other teams' fans on this forum
Sionnach gorm Posted 7 February 2016 Author Posted 7 February 2016 How no one have notcied that this Sionnach Gorm fellow really sound like a Man Utd fan which I will not rule out considering recent invasion of other teams' fans on this forum Nope not even close. Raised in Rome as a boy (father was a journalist). I have an Irish cousin who's a Liverpool fan (unfortunately) one in London that is a Hammer supporter (I like them). My teams have been Roma, Cagliari (big fan of Gigi Riva), and Leicester (the only English team I followed since I spent time in England and became good friends with a Leicester supporter). The only skeleton, you might say, is that I do cheer for Italy at the World Cup...and proud of it!!!!

The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 I don't understand how people can come to this conclusion after Mourinho has had a mental breakdown this season, he'll be destroyed by Pep. Or they'll fail together
