foxfanazer Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Over the years we've had the word legend thrown around to players with the response 'they have to win something before they can be considered a legend' Who now falls into the bracket of club legend and if we won the league would the whole team deserve that title?
LCFC FOX Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 They'd all go down in history that's for sure. Staying with Leicester after this season for years to come would qualify them as a legend imo
StanSP Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 King. For sticking around. For being the ultimate professional through the highs and lows. Genuinely been through it all. Hope he never leaves and deserves all the credit he will duly get. anyone who has played a part in this magical season will get some kind of cult status and rightly so.
GaelicFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Fan legend has to The wasilewski look a like lad , don't know his name but seem him away loads , beard and pumped ..... He was amazing in the wetherspoons Moon under Water yesterday , ramped everyone up to buzzing levels Some show lad , mind you didn't think the table was going to take your weight
Aussie Fox 1969 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 The commentators during the Watford match were saying how Leicester had had a number of legendary players of the years (examples they listed included Peter Shilton, Frank Worthington, Gary Linneker, Alan Smith, etc) but they said Leicester had NEVER had a TEAM like this. Regardless of whether or not they hang on to win this season's title, IMO this current team will go down as legends in not only club history, but also in EPL history. I want the Hollywood movie rights. It has the makings of the greatest sporting story ever seen on the big screen.

Andy King is a club legend IMO. If the Foxes win the title and King adds that medal to his medals for winning The Championship and League 1, will he be the first player to ever to win the title in each of the top three divisions with the ONE club? It would be amazing achievement over 8 sessons.
Guest ttfn Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 The whole team are legends if we win the Premier League. Not only would it be the greatest achievement in the history of the club, but the history of football and very possibly the history of professional sport.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Andy King is a club legend IMO. Sampson Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 King, Morgan, Vardy, Mahrez, Drinkwater and probably Schmeichel pretty much already are club legends by this point. Kante as well will go down as one of the greatest players ever to wear the shirt, but you usually have to be at the club longer than a season to be considered a club legend. The rest of the team are well on their way too and will all be remembered fondly as part of this side which was in a title battle regardless. If a few of them stay on for several years they'll pretty much be guaranteed club legend status.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Andy King for certain. Our longest serving player, he's stayed with us since the league one days and is now enjoying the benefit of his loyalty to us. I'd be delighted for him to be able to hold the Premier League trophy after the years he's had at the club. My favourite player, as a guy and a very classy footballer.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 The whole of the current squad/starting line up would be club legends if we win the title. It would be the biggest achievement in modern football in my opinion.
FireFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 If we win, the whole squad (probably not Benny, Krama, Inler, James, Chilwell, Dodoo, Gray? Dyer?) plus Cambiasso will be legends of not just the club but of sport.

ScouseFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 king was already a legend before this season even started imo. one club man, top 20 for both goals and apps in the club's history, played in three divisions, been with us at our lowest point in our history and now at our highest. undoubted legend.
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 In my eyes, the current club legends are Steve Walsh, Muzzy Izzet, Neil Lennon, Andy King, Frankie Wortho and now Jamie Vardy. There are more, but they would be my first thoughts.

cc_star Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Kingy is and already was Mahrez, Vardy, Morgan, Drinkwater & Schmeichel could be with more longevity. Kante for sure if he re-signs and builds on his phenomenal 1st season. The true legends of the Pearson/Ranieri era are player recruitment, fitness, medical & sports science staff.
