caeruleus Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 The last game of the season is an away game at Stanford Bridge as I am sure you all know. Will we be champions? YES I believe we will !!!! But I don't want to watch this game on my TV in my house or in the pub I want to watch it at HOME (KING POWER STADIUM) I want to celebrate with all the fans some of whom I know but more that I don't. Win it or not, wouldn't it be great if they opened up our home and put out some big screens for us to watch this great final match of the season together and celebrate the most unbelievable achievement in Premier league history. Please support this post to try to make it happen. I will pay to get in as long as I get a free beer.
Karljohn Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Yes most definitely, it would be great to get a good old fashioned beamback at the very least. Yes most definitely, it would be great to get a good old fashioned beamback at the very least.
caeruleus Posted 6 March 2016 Author Posted 6 March 2016 I support this! Please keep this going, we can't all make the away match even if we had the whole stadium.
Guest Bilo Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I'm just looking forward to seeing Chelsea give us a guard of honour.
Spiritwalker Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I'm up for this. There are people on here who have contact with the club hopefully they can ask the question.

Thanks That's why I put it out on here, I did not know any other way to make this suggestion hopefully it will become a popular thread and make it happen. I hope that Vic and Top please take note of this.
Tim'llFixIt Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Open up the ground and pitch too, beers and bbqs everywhere and after the game birch announces kasabian to come out and play a full set, 2 hours later they do an encore followed by the Leicester team carrying the cup after bombing it back home to city from London ... John Terry thrown out at Luton services after posing in a Leicester shirt and hiding in the baggage hold of the city bus Claudio finishes the night off with a speach to the fans and we all leave in floods if tears
orgilbert1 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I'll be giving my right arm for a ticket for the game. Failing that, watching it in the KP would be a good second!
Webbo Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Good luck but as this match will almost certainly be live on Sky I doubt the club will think it worthwhile (maybe in the 1884 bar but apart from that).
costonfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Come on lcfc get the big screen out for the lads, they might even hear us down at the bridge This is just massive for us
Rincewind Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I may even make my first appearance at a game this season. I am sure the KP can be filled. 6k at Chelsea 30k City fans at the KP. Even better if the KP noise can be relayed to Stamford Bridge. I am sure if there are not enough City fans there will be a few neutral fans to fill the ground. What if part of the takings is donated to a charity or have entry reduced? £10-£20?
costonfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Kasabian oh yes great idea, don't throw John terry out at Luton bring him back and spit roast him for alaugh
demon_dog Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Best way is if we all bombard the club with emails requesting this to happen. A couple of thousand should be enough to convince them that this is what we would like. Copy the Mercury in on this too. They are bound to champion the cause.
tomtom Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Good luck but as this match will almost certainly be live on Sky I doubt the club will think it worthwhile (maybe in the 1884 bar but apart from that). With the amount of thing's the owners already do for the fans (clappers, breakfasts, beers, discounts, tshirts etc) why wouldn't they think it's worthwhile? I personally think it's a great idea and that the owners would willingly help put something on if asked to

Okay I take that on board, but lets make this a positive thing and not put out the negatives. E.G. being on TV. As I said in my first start of the thread I know where I would prefer to watch it. TV media has already made a hash of the rescheduling, never gave a thought to the grass roots football of all the young Leicester lads who play league football on a Sunday afternoon, now torn between their local team and LCFC Has anyone realised this ?

Ozwin Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 It's something I think the club would do anyway, but let's not get ahead of ourselves now.
sylofox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I support you just don't think sky will allow it under terms agreed in the TV deal.
Matt Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I support you just don't think sky will allow it under terms agreed in the TV deal. Make $ky buy-in to it, tell them to get some cameras set up back in Leicester (Dependent on circumstances and what the game means) if/when we score, if/when we do win it, cut back to the scenes back in Leicester, they'd love it!
Itsthejoeker Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 If I can't get tickets I'll be in London going nuts in a pub
caeruleus Posted 6 March 2016 Author Posted 6 March 2016 I support you just don't think sky will allow it under terms agreed in the TV deal. I did not think of that as I am no solicitor, Just goes to show that media is all wrong about football if they have more control than the fans who love their club. Thanks shiny side up mate

Great shout , think BT might get a game this year at the end Hope so as its not like sky will be helping Leicester If you listened to Martin Tyler yesterday you would see at Sky there is very much an expectancy that we will slip up infact a desire for us to slip up
