AKCJ Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Shame the massive tele near the clock tower has gone. 2010 world cup was mint.
americanfox Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Wasn't it the case when Chelsea won the league early last year that the Prem made them wait until the last game to collect the trophy and get a guard of honour etc? I would imagine it would be the same here for us providing we keep going as we are. This would be a great alternative to those of us who stand no chance of getting an away ticket. I'm currently considering whether or not it's worth shelling out big-time on a ticket swapping site, minimum price is about £160, but it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Imagine the look on Claudio's face if/when he receives a guard of honour from Stamford Bridge. Honest question: do you think there's no chance getting a ticket through the ticket board here? Since I'm flying in from the US for that final match, I'm contemplating shelling out on a tout site too. It's ~£160, but if we keep our challenge on, I figure that's only going to go up when the sales are released next month. Should I just buy now?

whetstonefox Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Perhaps we should all dress up as turtles in recognition of the clubs Xmas party bash
Bayfox Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Is it just me that finds wanting to watch the game in London without tickets weird? Surely if you cant get in the stadium then the place to be is in Leicester where it will be party central That depends if there is a trophy presentation to be had. And your willing to miss the last 10 mins in the pub and risk a dart into the ground when they open the exit gates.
Matt Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 No fcker is going to be listening to prrrrick piss himself on the last day anyway, if it's on TV we are all going to watch lets be realistic. Agreed. But that is exactly the reason he wouldn't publicise it anyway to harm his listening figures even more, I do agree with you though pretty much no-one would be listening to him if it's on TV, if they are they need to have a word with themselves.
kingcarr21 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 That depends if there is a trophy presentation to be had. And your willing to miss the last 10 mins in the pub and risk a dart into the ground when they open the exit gates. Chelsea are not going to let Leicester fans into Stamford Bridge to see the presentation. That's wishful thinking. I bet most (if not all) of the Chelsea fans would stay to watch the presentation themselves anyway. I doubt the exit gates are all going to be wide open and unmanned at the 90th minute. I still say if you cant get a ticket then the place to be is in Leicester where the streets will be all singing and dancing. Christ just thinking about what i've wrote just doesn't seem right. Are we actually having this discussion . I told my bro that if we win I will cry uncontrollably.
M0901 Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Not only that but your name is still in clear view on the bottom thread of the email But nice going, hope it works out.
stretch1965 Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 They could trial it for the manure match in readiness for the chelsea match or am I being greedy......... and hopeful
AKCJ Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Worth noting that Sky would probably be up for backing this. Imagine if they could get the players back up to the City and potentially have the trophy presentation here?
trabuch Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Great idea. I was thinking of coming back to leicester any way just for the celebrations.
Danizen Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 F Sky!! I'll just get a dodgy Kodi stream up "Sorry about this, folks. We've got to reset the fvcking thing." "If anyone has a decent stream, contact your nearest steward." "Who's downloading? Can't it wait until later?"

fuchsntf Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Why not try and get Sky interested with Leicester city. 1st to the scene, holding the 1st rights, interviews galore, GSS pundits. Also outside local pundits. They surely Would help with event set up, to get those rights. Which they could use through the night, the Weekend well into the week.. Player and manager Interviews...:- After game, on-field. Organise a return bus, returning to KP with the Vardy party oh yes the pot....etc etc.
caeruleus Posted 10 March 2016 Author Posted 10 March 2016 Fully back this as an idea. Would be good all-round. We need more like yourself to make this happen, we just need loads of people to yes I would come keep the ticket price really low and it would pack the KP Also for all the ST holders that did not want to go it would give other people the opportunity to come and feel the atmosphere and want them to come back next season to enjoy the buzz. No down side for the blues as they would pack the stadium after the extension.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Surely the dream would be going into the Everton game knowing 3pts would win us the league? KP would be rocking and all 30,000 of us can go crazy!
Carl the Llama Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Alex Snart sounds like the civilian name of a DC super villain.
st albans fox Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 I was offered two seats by a chelski punter of mine. I just cant face sitting amongst opposition fans on what could be such a crucial day. (Although I think will be done and dusted by then)

(Although I think will be done and dusted by then) If you read a chelskiforum, they are cheering for city nearly as much as we are. You will be fine
what? Posted 14 March 2016 Posted 14 March 2016 Very tentative question that definitely won't jinx anything: if a certain team that wears blue does manage to do this, how soon after the last game of the season would the trophy parade through the city be?
