Trav Le Bleu Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 How many games have we won recently with out Vardy scoring? There have been s few. Yes, but his threat creates space and opportunities for other players. Having said that, whoever plays instead of Vardy, the opposition might not see so much as a threat, which would be a serious mistake.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Don't worry, it'll be the Hollywood ending we're all hoping for. Vardy returns for the Chelsea match with us needing a win to secure the title. It's 1-1 going into stoppage time when John Terry "sweeps the leg" under Hiddink's orders. An injured Vardy steps up to take the penalty...
WardyisPukka Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Schlupp up top with Okazki using Leo as super sub as per'. we tried schlupp up top earlier on in the season for a half! didnt work at all! hasnt got the intelligence for off the ball runs i'm afraid
BoyJones Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 we tried schlupp up top earlier on in the season for a half! didnt work at all! hasnt got the intelligence for off the ball runs i'm afraid Have to agree. Schlupp was put in towards the end of the game, easy ball to control on edge of area and then plenty of time to get a shot away. As per, he wasn't concentrating, let the ball drift away from him my 88 year old mother could have controlled. A great chance to make it 2-0 gone. I like him, but hasn't the ruthlessness to play up top, particularly against decent defenders.
Countryfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Think its odds on we will start with Ulloa and Okazaki in the JV role (or vice versa) and have Gray and Jeff as impact subs if required whilst pushing Mahrez up a bit in a free role.
Countryfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 How many games have we won recently with out Vardy scoring? There have been s few. We looked fine without him yesterday and we only had ten men. I am sure the manager will have a plan You can wrap it up any way you like but Vardy and Kante are two players who make a big difference to the way we play and we are less of a team without them.
UPinCarolina Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 No matter what happens, we're going to need a little MahrezMagic™ to see us through.
Larry_LCFC Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 The media are making this out to be a whole lot worse than it was. Full ****ing page spreads in the paper. Can't see the FA letting it go.
Bayfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 How many games have we won recently with out Vardy scoring? There have been s few. However in those recent games. Palace. Vardy to mahrez. Newcastle. Vardy to Okazaki. Even when not scoring he has been involved in creating. He's a massive miss and crucial to the way we play. Please only be 1 game.
drawfull Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I hope the FA make the decision before tonight's match for you guys. I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything, but imagine if Spurs lost and then they extended the ban tomorrow...
Matt Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Ok so my post's keep getting deleted. Vardy is not the only one to be charged. The club have been charged for failing to control the players aswell. Is that better for you whoever keeps deleting my posts? Kinda two seperate topics but hey lets get the two seperate points mixed up in one thread.
