weller54 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Because of his abusive language when leaving the pitch.. Moss is bound to report this!
Fox 4 Life Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Assume it would be a 3 game ban if reported? Could genuinely derail the dream
SystonFox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Media hysteria. Gotta love it. We are beginning to sound like Spurs fans
Stevosevic Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 We won't win the league if he misses 3 games. United away is made for him.
Jimmy Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 he has no previous for this so no way the FA would extend a ban for this now
gdl9050 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 It's a weird situation because the FA don't want to upset him as he will be with England in the summer.
StanSP Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 don't get why he'd be given an extra ban for telling the truth...
weller54 Posted 17 April 2016 Author Posted 17 April 2016 Spurs might lodge a complaint with the FA using Diego Costa as a prescient?
stretch1965 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Hopefully they will take into account the weak 1st yellow so won't be 3 games
johnny the fox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 If the powers that be can fook us up they will...
VLC86 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Ugh why did you even mention this, I'm fragile enough as it is after that.
bovril Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Maybe playing for the national team will help his cause. Silly boy, though. Need to keep your cool in such situations.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Playing for the national team certainly helped Shearer when he got away with assaulting Neil Lennon!
bovril Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Playing for the national team certainly helped Shearer when he got away with assaulting Neil Lennon! That's what I was thinking of. Vardy certainly isn't untouchable like Shearer but I'm not sure the FA will want to derail our title bid and piss off a potential England star. Or maybe I'm clutching at straws.
RowlattsFox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 How many times has the England captain been banned for swearing at officials? There have been much worse shows of dissent which haven't been punished.
yorkie1999 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 The fa would become the laughing stock of football for conspiring to fix the league
weller54 Posted 17 April 2016 Author Posted 17 April 2016 Indeed is the red card appealable? You can't appeal 2 yellows!
Guest Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 The fa would become the laughing stock of football for conspiring to fix the league That hasn't stopped them doing anything up to this point
Cornish Lair Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Let's all hope that Vardy is not hero, turned villain, and only get's a one match ban. A referee's report for bad language, cannot be allowed by the FA to influence the outcome of the premiership title.
HighPeakFox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Spurs might lodge a complaint with the FA using Diego Costa as a prescient? Precedent innit
stripeyfox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 If you call the ref a "f**kin cnut" or whatever he said then I hope he at least had the humility to apologise afterwards and hope the ref doesn't report him.
