Narratives, narratives everywhere!

There are narratives every where I this team... But am I missing any? Here are the ones I can think of:

Leicester City FC: 132 years and no top level win, coming close twice in all that time.

Claudio: 30 years managing some of the biggest clubs in Europe only to finish second at them, never winning a domestic league.

Simpson: Many years at clubs under achieving, and then the conviction in the summer, not wanted by 90% of City fans at the start of the season. Playing his socks off at the mo'!

Huth: Winner at Chelsea, went to Stoke and was 'surplus to requirements' left for us - they nose dive!

Morgan: Second tier centre back all his career, dodgy first Prem season, imperious second!

Fuchs: ?

Mahrez: Too well known.

Kante: Low level French footballer who was too small for top level football.

Drinky: Rejected by Man U, went down the leagues to succeed, now England caps!

Albrighton: Let go by Villa for FREE! Look where they ended up! Some would say his inclusion in the team (finally!) helped us to survive last year! : whistle:

Okasaki: ?

Vardy: Too many narratives to mention!

King: One club man, been there at League One, Championship and now Prem. Ultimate professional!

Any more?

Wasyl's career looked like it might be over 4 or 5 years ago after that "tackle" by Witsel.

Schwarzer would be the oldest member of a Premier League winning squad, having played against Leicester the time before last that we won a trophy (1997).

De Laet's chances of two winners' medals in a season unfortunately appear to have gone tits up.

Schwarzer winning a league winners medal two years in a row, without playing a game

De Laet possible championship and Premier League winners medal.

Kasper possibly winning a league on the ground he watched his dad win so many.

Wasyl coming back from that injury

Jeff being Jeff and possibly having more league winners medals than Stevie G.

Gray spotted in a pre season friendly.

I wouldn't say Stoke had nosed dived. They're a few points and one position worse off then where they finished last season.

Doesn't a player have to have played in five league matches minimum to automatically get a league winners medal?  Schwarzer wouldn't qualify if that's the case.

It's been mentioned about 9000 times on the forum, the club get a set amount of medals and once the players who played 5 or more get one they can give them to whichever player or coaching staff they like. They can also buy more medals if they want.

Plucky underdog gate crashes closed shop of Champions League qualification. Changes football and the world forever...

Re-burial of long dead King ignites the Foxes and changes them into world beaters.

Attractive game show host who sports Manchester United secretly supports Leicester and inspires them to Premier league survival, then glory.

Just as the breakaway league proposal rears its ugly head again, Leicester come along and show the football world just what's at stake.

IF it happens, first new league title winners for almost 40 years.

A team with a group of British players at its heart tells a top Italian manager 'We don't want too much tactical advice, we just want to carry on as we are'. With incredble results.

Fuchs was surplus to requirements at Schalke, convinced to sign for Leicester by a man who got sacked a few weeks later and they never met.

Schmeichel being in the shadow of his 5-time premier league winning father....

Now he has the chance to win it at the club where his dad found so much success!

The main reason for this is compared to Man City, Man U et al. We do have a lot of narratives.

Most others seem to be:

Highly successful manager, spends multi millions on very talented squad, beats other expensive, highly talented teams to title. Whilst also rans (anyone below 6th) just hope for a point!

It's slightly anciliary but the 5000/1 gets a regular airing, especially in the "same odds as ..." meme. My favourite is probably Elvis being found alive. It used to be "same odds as Manjiro sh*****g Rachel R", but now that one's gone ;-)

If/when we win it how many players were produced through the English coaching system.Apart from the players that can play for England. So we have to include Morgan,Schmeichel,King and Jeff.Anymore?
