TiffToff88 Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Some people are calling this a "Once in a Lifetime" opportunity to see Leicester City win the Premier League. Well, looking at the ambition of the owners, and the foundations we have in place, I disagree. I can only see a bright future for the club where the sky is the limit. For this reason,I have given my season ticket to my 88 year old grandad for the Everton game. He was born the year we finished 2nd to Sheffield Wednesday back in 1928. He's been a lifelong fan and, although I think the future is bright for us, this may well be his only chance to see his boyhood club lift the Premier League trophy. He hasn't had much to smile about since my grandma died 3 years ago, but I will never forget the look on his face when I gave him my ticket. I'll be watching us lift the trophy in a pub somewhere in the city, thinking about my grandad celebratigwith 32,000 of his closest friends inside the King Power Stadium. Anyone at the game on Sunday, say hello to my grandad, he'll be the one with the biggest smile on his face. I'll be there next time though!

What a fantastic gesture and i hope if anyone somehow has a spare ticket it can make its way to you. I agree with you as well about our future, I've said in the expand the stadium thread when people worry about relegation and the empty seats, that relegation is not something to worry about, the owners are building for a bright and successful future, hopefully it comes off.
