Renart Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 There is going to be another season? I thought that was it!
Gerard Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Not a promoted club, historically they start quite well and get found out later.
Bayfox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Not a promoted club, historically they start quite well and get found out later.I agree. Going to Wednesday on the opening day and getting turned over. Although not critical can often set a tone.Leicester 1 Bolton 5 anyone. I'd rather we got a West ham or Bournemouth etc that have been here before. Infact it was 5-0 wasn't it. I've given us a goal
promised land Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Another away trip to Bournemouth in August would be niceAs long as it's not lashing it down like it did last season, the beer queue was horrendous as well.Fear no one, just would like the big clubs spaced out a bit more and not like this season where they were clustered together. Away first game and a home final game thank you. Just want Burnley away in the cricket season. Great laugh with the batters at the club. Last time we were there a plod told me they absolutely hate getting bowled out in front of a packed stand of away fans.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Do we have to play everyone twice, home and away? Asking for a friend. ta.
promised land Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Do we have to play everyone twice, home and away? Asking for a friend. ta. No, because we won we get a freebie, so can chose one team we don't want to play away, then that game we are allowed to pick another team to play at home so we still play 38 games. The privilege of winning the league, it's not mentioned much as its a bit hush hush, it started when the premier league was formed, look back through the fixtures of previous seasons and you'll spot it. HTH.

dayday Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Spurs first at home,so I can listen to there fans sing Leicester City we're coming for you
Bayfox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Brilliant thanks, I'll pass it on Yep can you also pass on to all at talksport. That the play-offs are great. They don't need changing. We have been discussing it for years and nothing has changed. Leave them be. We have been on both sides. But I still love the fact you can be 9th or 10th and have something to play for. Heartbreaking when you lose granted. But sure most would rather go up via Wembley than 2nd if you could choose. (Yes I know you can't?)
Bayfox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Spurs first at home,so I can listen to there fans sing Leicester City we're coming for you Or we can sing Did you get lost Did you get lost Tottenham hotspur did you get lost.

Staffs Fox Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Is this the season where the Friday night game become a regular thing? No matter who we get I reckon we could have this fixture for the opening weekend, We are the champions after all
Guest Manini Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Is this the season where the Friday night game become a regular thing? No matter who we get I reckon we could have this fixture for the opening weekend, We are the champions after all Aren't the champions contractually obligated to play their first game at 4pm on the Sunday?
Staffs Fox Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Aren't the champions contractually obligated to play their first game at 4pm on the Sunday? Don't think so, I seem to remember the Chelsea v Swansea 'Eva-gate' game being 5.30 on the Saturday after we'd just smashed Sunderland
Larry_LCFC Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Not like we can plan anything though. Sky will be a long to **** things up, probably just as much as this season.
