Was he one of the lads that got caught up and they all got 3 year banning orders for defending themselves ? Lots from Leics were in that situation

Lots from Leics were in that situation I can't remember - he was telling me before xmas. Said that a large group of them just came out of nowhere and went for them. He ended up having to fight to defend himself, and that the police were useless. He was a Wednesday fan

I wasn't pointing out the contradiction I was pointing out the hypocrisy in being willing to stereotype one group of people in 'angry North Africans' and you flying off the wall at another similar statement. And more than half the population of Glasgow regularly sing "Fcuk the IRA" So it's not new to anyone on Glasgow And you know what totally agree "Fcuk the IRA" Most people In ireland agree with that me included

Stupid to get wound up over petty insults from local youths - who were clearly in to get a reaction. But who knows how much the England fans had been drinking up to that point. I do hope we're not going to see a repeat of 1998.

Why are we so quick to jump on our own fans before waiting for any evidence to come out? Although putting England in Marseille has to be one of stupidest ideas I've seen, tensions still exist from 1998.
