As much as I rate Vardy, you also have to take into account that his rise from non-league to the highest domestic level is/was down to management, belief, support on and off the pitch. Where would Vardy be without the help of his teammates? The assists of Mahrez, Albrighton, Drinkwater, King, Fuchs to name a few?

It will only be 25% of the profit so a bit less than 5 million. Also it's in the contract of a lot of managers that they get a cut of any transfer fee plus I think the scout is entitled to a cut as well.

The buy out clause is terrible business on our part. Even 25 mill might have made teams think a bit. Whoever has agreed this (knowing the form he was in) needs talking to..... (putting it politically correctly).
