Guest Col city fan Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Ireland easily the best side here and I hope they don't regret having so much possession and not getting one in front. Loving Brady's deliveries. But they should have scored first half.
Finnegan Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 But Barcelona have learned to take a more direct route to goal. There are times they have to be patient because teams will still park the bus. But they've brought in Rakitic who goes back to front far more directly than Xavi did and Suarez who's direct by nature. Spain slow the game down when they don't even need to. Silva has lost his edge, Iniesta is past his best and slows the game down, Fabregas isn't at his best playing that way, Nolito is frankly bollocks. They've no urgency.
GaelicFox Posted 13 June 2016 Author Posted 13 June 2016 I hope Zlatan sticks about 4 past ROI. Such a dull international side. Who is dull now We have bossed these Cvnts
Finnegan Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Who is dull now Still Ireland mate. I'm nodding off here.
sphericalfox Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Still Ireland mate. I'm nodding off here. Short term memory? Wales the pinnacle of entertainment and skill these last few tournaments?
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Got to agree with Finners (I'm afraid..) Spain seem to want to walk the ball into the net. There's too much build up. I can see the Germans for example beating them with their sublime passing AND direct football when it's needed. Spain have to shoot more. I'm also unsure with their striking options.
Tielemans63 Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 I'm lucky that when England play quite well but struggle to put away an inferior side I can really on Ireland to cheer me up. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Finnegan Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 quite a boring game. are Sweden the ultimate one-man team?! Pretty sure that's us to be honest.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 quite a boring game. are Sweden the ultimate one-man team?! usually the one man performs
Finnegan Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 quite a boring game. are Sweden the ultimate one-man team?! Problem with Sweden and Ibra is that he's not really quick enough to lose a marker and the rest of the team aren't good enough to punish a team for man marking it doubling up on him. For PSG, you can't focus purely on Ibra because Cavani, Moura or De Maria will punish you. There's more space for him because he's playing with good teams around him. I've seen it a lot with Bale since he went to Real. When he plays for Wales now he's doubled up on all the team and marked intensely and we don't have a good enough team elsewhere to free him up and utilise the rest of the space. Ronaldo has the same problem for Portugal. Portugal are a poor side and it doesn't matter how good Ronaldo is, if teams stick a few guys on him, the rest of the Portuguese team aren't good enough to take advantage.
Tielemans63 Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 What a strike Wesley. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
StanSP Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 interesting to see what Pearce's reaction is when/if Sweden score...
Finnegan Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 interesting to see what Pearce's reaction is when/if Sweden score... To be fair, Jonathan Pearce gets excited by everything. In the world cup he got excited by goal line technology when the ball hit the post and came out having gone nowhere near the line. Absolute fanny. Worst commentator in the world.
kingfox Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Good strike from Hoolahan. Top save by Randolph, really rate him, was brilliant at times for West Ham last season.
The Doctor Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Really hope this new robot wars series the BBC have gone for takes Pearce back tbh.
