It was actually a league game in Polish Ekstraklasa mate. Granted they do look like friendlies more often than not, especially this time of the season lol

Kapustka was introduced at '46 when it's been already done and dusted, didn't even see him in the highlights. He's definitely changing clubs this transfer window.

Apparently he's been chatting some shit about moving to his "dream club" as of late. Hopefully it's Leicester not Arsenal, ManU or any other fashionable team

Oh my bad haha, I presumed the Polish season was aligned with the English, Spanish, Italian etc.

Yeah hoping it's Leicester!

It is pretty much aligned, but due to the two-month winter-break, they start much earlier. The first games were last weekend.

Kapustka played the entire second half for Cracovia today, as they were beaten 3-2 at Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza. After the game, he was asked about the rumours of a move to Leicester:

For me it's a very cool thing. I'm glad that such a club is interested in me, however not everything depends on me. Talks will be held with the club. If a positive decision will be taken, I will be happy.

He also mentioned there are other potential offers, and that he would seek the advice of national team coach Adam Nawałka before making a decision.

Yeah I just read that too. Says its important for him to play a lot because he wants to develop.

Correct me if I'm wrong - but sounds very positive. Sounds like he wants to join us and there are just a few things to finalize between clubs.

Confirmation within the next few days quite possibly.

Just read on a Polish site that he is hoping Wasly can help him acclimatise to life at the KP.. Show him how to use Elbows ? Also quoted as saying he did not recognise the other Clubs that are interested in signing him ?  I thought Southampton had a huge Polish population? Must talking about Everton......

it seems we need to pay 10 million Euros. Gerrimin Rudders.. What a lift this would be!

I think, if another - possibly Italian or German club - would have put the same bids in, they may well have been accepted. Cracovia's owner Janusz Filipiak is a businessman, who knows that we, as English Champions, are able to part with a little more cash. The amount being talked about is huge, not just for Cracovia, but for the Polish league in general. Cracovia's biggest transfer fee received is about €1.5m, for Mateusz Klich, who moved to Wolfsburg a few years ago. For Kapi to leave for the fee being bandied about, it will surpass by some distance the record €5.25m paid by Trabzonspor for Polonia Warsaw midfielder Adrian Mierzejewski.

Thanks for the up-date.. Hopefully you will keeps us advised of what you hear!

If we screw this up we only have ourselves to blame ... are you listening Rudkin!?

Have also just read on the polish sites that the player knows of our offer and would welcome a move to the KP.

Quite unusual for a player still under contract to pretty much blatantly say he wants to join us ( there is of course mention of other clubs/offers but it would seem he's not itching to go to Everton or Southampton)

As someone else mentioned we should not underestimate the role of Wasly in the decision. The very young Bartek would have watched wasilewski playing for Poland on many occasions and of course they both come from the same city (Krakow).

Nothing is done until it's done but this player is certainly moving this transfer window ...we need to act fast and get this over the line

Surely someone's leaving if this is happening?

We already have Gray, Schlupp, Mahrez & Albrighton. Can't see us fitting a 5th winger in.

He's only 19 and we have 2 wingers going to the AFCON. I'd imagine he would be back up to begin with whilst slowly introducing him halfway through the the season.
