Missus had the pork and apple one there - also really nice

Italians make the mistake of doing those really thin bases that turn to shrapnel when you bite into them. Need more substance and podge like everywhere else's pizza has. And fresh tomatoes aren't a topping.

Barbecue sauce isn't an acceptable base sauce. Has to be primarily tomato, can feature garlic or pesto but that's about it

You need to open your mind to more pizza. We have this thing locally called "thai pizza". It's got a spicy peanut curry sauce, cheese, scallions and grilled chicken. It's amazing. I've also made something similar at home with a sweet chili sauce, crushed peanuts, and red pepper flakes.

I know, i know, I'm a madman.

I also had the pork and apple (think they use stilton for the cheese too?) at the Golden Fleece. Very nice. That place has really gone up market... but still can't beat a pint on the Albatross.

Pizzas should be thin base though... deep pan is just too much dough. You're right about the tomato base though.

I make quick mini-pizzas using pitta bread as the base, or sometimes even crumpets.

Really like the 'Tandoori Spice' Pizza from Papa Johns. It's got kinda like a curry base. Absolutely lovely.

Has anyone ever tried the ASDA create your own pizzas? Those ones they make on the counter.

I've gigged on the Albatross! Great laugh, the crazy Dutchman who owns the boat is mental. I like a thin base but not paper thin where is ends up rock hard

I use two fajita wraps, spread tomato puree on, cheese, pepperoni, pickled Jalapeños, onion, garlic salt and dried mint* for lunch at work - spread all the stuff on, fold it in half and then again into a quarter and cook it in the sandwich press. Brilliant lunch

*the mint was something I just chucked in there but it's a game-changer. Try it

They used to do a Mexican one with that spicy cheese, spicy beef and onion. It was probably my favourite non-takeaway pizza, then they took it away. Bastards.

Yeah, the steak and cheese one is great with BBQ sauce. Not sure I have quite got across quite how much I love a pizza with BBQ sauce in recent times.

lol Yeah! It's like people who smoke Silk Cut - posers. They're no stronger than air.

You might not believe this, but I worked with someone who couldn't handle those Walker's Thai Sweet Chili crisps. What an arsehole.

Sweet chilli, sweet potatoes, pulled pork. They all need wiping off the face of the earth. Man up and learn to chew you stupid hipster jerks you are buying this garbage and it's staying on menus in place of proper food.

I quite like Pulled Pork

Loving these extreme views though lol

Mighty meaty from dominoes but the only real reason I order dominos is for their garlic dip!

Asda create your own - chorizo, spicy beef, Cajun chicken, jalapeños with chill oil!

The pepperoni Chicago town 'take away' is decent for a frozen to.

Pizza is is my favourite food honestly think I could have it every day!
