Pizza should be a religion imo but anyone who goes to Italy and claims they have the best pizza in the world is deluded. Nowhere over there will sell anything with a BBQ sauce base which is a small disaster.

I have had pizza with fresh pineapple on that was alright (didn't add much) Barbecue sauce can fvck the fvck off. Completely ruins a pizza. Even a small amount and everything just tastes like dirt syrup

They only have 6 pizzas on the menu and then a veggie special and a meat special most expensive pizza is £8. Sour dough wood fired pizzas, light, fresh and not swimming in grease.

Missus had the pork and apple one there - also really nice Italians make the mistake of doing those really thin bases that turn to shrapnel when you bite into them. Need more substance and podge like everywhere else's pizza has. And fresh tomatoes aren't a topping. Barbecue sauce isn't an acceptable base sauce. Has to be primarily tomato, can feature garlic or pesto but that's about it

Has to be primarily tomato, can feature garlic or pesto but that's about it I know this is the internet and people are allowed opinions but if people come on here thinking they are right when they say that BBQ sauce is a terrible choice for a pizza base you aren't in a good place.
