So tough to say. With so much change going on elsewhere I find it very difficult to try and compare us to our competition.

I'll guess 7th but I'm still somewhat hopeful of a CL spot again.

I've gone for 7th - 10th.  Chelsea will win with Conte/Kante/Hazard not being so bad/No European football.  City and Utd finishing 2nd and 3rd.  Then it will be Arse, Spurs, Liverpool, Everton, West Ham, us and maybe Southampton and Stoke battling for fourth.

I really want us to give a good account of ourselves in Europe and have a good run in the FA Cup and/or league cup.

Last season was magical.  It was so so special.  Surely a one off.  I don't expect it to be repeated but would be very disappointed to finish outside the top 10.

Half of us think 7th-10th. Are we just being cautious? Has that much changed since last season?

7-10th.

I think that last season saw a unique set of circumstances come together, and they will not be repeated this season. Sadly, the glass ceiling will be repaired and we'll see the usual suspects fighting it out for the title. I can't see beyond City, United or Chelsea for the title (Chelsea probably edging it because of their lack of European competition), with Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs taking the next three spots.

How well we adjust to losing N'Greedy Kunte is what will determine where we will finish. I think it was he who made our defence so watertight last year, and without him (or an adequate replacement) Morgan and Huth will be exposed for their lack of mobility. I honestly think there are going to be games where we concede heavily unless Claudio can tweak things again.

That said, I also think there will be games where we will score heavily - I don't envisage many nil-nils.

I fancy us to do well in Europe, possibly even winning the Europa if we end up in it.

5th. I think that's the high end of realistic. Can't see us struggling, and there is a lot of dross in the league as well as a huge amount of class. Would be content with top half...

As Martin Keown said in an article recently, if Kante hadn't have left is be much more confident about us being able to win it again, but I just get the feeling he will be hugely missed his season.

Gone for 5th-6th

But think we could be much lower but still top half.

While friendlies that you can't read anything into..... I'm going to read into them anyway

We've got at least 6 more games, before Christmas alone.

Defence has looked a bit suspect as far as positioning goes

I'm not convinced we'll be able to play a midfield duo and we've had problems playing any other way for so long

Drinkwater has looked a bit alone as part of the Drinky/King or Drinky/Mendy duo, King is very accomplished and I love him to bits, but I'm not convinced about him slotting into us fighting at right end of table, yes he did last season but our confidence was there and we start again from 0 wins.... While Mendy looks to play to deep (to the dangerous point of splitting our previously solid defensive CB pairing) and rather than looking to break with the ball, he seems to be a 5 yard 'backpasser'... Obviously these are just coaching issues but it will effect our very difficult start against the top sides... And if we rock up a few defeats, then the confidence will go.

Mahrez... I'm not going to criticise him but...

We still after Keane & it's been going on for a while and doesn't seem to be going anywhere, is it too late to get someone of the same quality, if we don't land him?

No backup for Simpson, while I like the look of Hernandez, we play at too high a level for a makeshift first teamer playing out of natural position.

Infividually these things may not be a problem, but together they've the potential to chip away & we'll fall short of where we hope

I've just got back from the future.

Tough one this- with most teams you can pick whats gonna happen- top 4= Mancsx2, Chelsea, Arse.

Next bunch- Spurs,Liverpool.

Then the Everton,Saints groupset.

Strugglers- Dull, Burnley,Sunderland (As usual even with Moyes)

But honestly can't tell with us!!!

I've gone for a realistic 7-10th...but why shouldn't we finish higher if we can carry on from last year? Will everyone have napped us out and worked out how to play us?

We've lost Kante and that's a MASSIVE loss but actually when you look at the new signings it's potentially ALOT better than last season!!!!

Let's enjoy the ride again!!!

(Hoping for a good FA Cup run though!!)
