Don't get ahead of yourselves people

The players are away, we will need to check with them first

Just to make sure they're happy with it

Ps: Fake news from August 2016

 Epic fail. lol

It's easier to get your facts right first, than dig your way out of a hole. Tbf, I've done it myself a fair few times on here, as have most on FT, apart from Col, obvs.

Nice one :schmike:

Players that we signed in the summer that haven't worked out yet, Walsh had a lot to do with. We were looking at mendy when he was here, we tried to sign musa last janruary I believe, and we'd been linked with slimani for a while too.

He wasn't a Claudio man as he would have come with Ranieri and he didn't.

Whether this is true or not, that's just a ridiculous thing to say.

Just because they didn't come at the same time? He doesn't need to be a part of his backroom team to be a 'Claudio man' as you put it.

When I said he was 'Claudio's man', I meant it was Claudio who appointed him as Steve Walsh's replacement and he was Sporting Director at Valencia with Claudio!

If Ndidi was Macia's doing then that's a very good start. Do wonder how big a role he played in the rest of our failure in January though.

I'd imagine Macia's job is to compile a ****load of shortlists for players that fit the profile the manager wants. Then I reckon it's down to the Rudkin or whoever to actually negotiate with other clubs and players.

Been watching him for 3 years I think was what was quoted at the time of him signing.
