Sampson Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 Zieler - Come off your line for corners for ****s sake. 5 Simpson - Oustanding. Won everything. 8 Huth - Some shakey moments but turned up when it mattered. 6 Morgan - Thought he played well . 7 Fuchs - Have to watch it back but think he may have been out of position for the goal. Albrighton - Created both goals through his endeavour. Looked out best attacking outlet for most of the game. 8 King - Some great touches but in and out of the game. 6 Drinkwater - Much better after a couple of shakey displays. 7 Mahrez - At times awful, at times brilliant. A very erratic and weird performance. 6 Vardy - Looked more like the Vardy of old, just needs a goal: 7 Okazaki - Well taken finish. 7 Toss up between Simpson and Albrighton for MOTM.

foxinsox Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Zieler 2 Should have saved their goal, poor positioning at corners and set pieces and fails to communicate with the back four. A liability that will cost us points against Boro and Sunderland. Simpson and Fuchs 7 each Morgan and Huth 6 Albrighton 7 Drinkwater 5 King 5 Mahrez 5. Too predictable with his cuts inside, tries to beat too many and loses possession. I hate his stuttering penalties. Vardy and Okazaki 7 each. Back to their old selves, though faded second half. Gray 8 some much needed energy and hunger, should start Schlupp 5 take the WBA money and run! Amartey 6 good in the air but not yet reading the game well enough for the CM role. Claudio 6 not too inspiring. Brugge 4 Really quite poor. We will get spanked if we defend like last night against a decent side Ref 8. Got all major calls right and let the game flow. No silly cards.
lgfualol Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Zieler 6 Simpson 7 - solid Huth 6 Morgan 5 Fuchs 7 - put in some dangerous balls, especially low ones which we should do more of in the Prem. Mahrez - 5 - Thought he was good but second half nothing worked for him, maybe through fatique Drinkwater 7 King 5 - Can't actually remember him after half time Albrighton 8 - Huge improvement on his PL displays this season Okazaki 7 Vardy 6
NewquayFox Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Simpson MOTM for me, won every challenge.... Vardy, Okazaki, Drinky, Morgan & Albrighton all had good games. Huth & Fuchs were a bit out of sorts with the latter out of position for their goal. Mahrez was at his 'Marmite' best. Zieler needs to be more commanding and at fault for their goal. King was his usual self, odd nice touch but anonymous for most of the game. Subs all did well. Best Referee we've had for ages, just let the game flow and no silly free kicks all the time... Up the City...

Very rare that I sit and agree with everything suggested, but, this an exception basically ^^^^^. What he said
The People's Hero Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Highlights for me were that Albrighton and Vardy more like their old selves. King and Fuchs good in first half and awful in the second.
Nick Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 I thought Simpson was great.... but he nearly cost us a goal by not picking up his man on the far post at one juncture....

I haven't watched it back but I'm sure Okazaki somehow misplaced a 1 yard pass to him which more or less set them up through on goal.

Not sure if it was Okazaki but Fuchs played a throw in to someone who tried to return the ball but it was poorly done hence the reason Fuchs was out of the position for the goal. I did not think it was his fault.
Corky Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Zieler- 6 Simpson- 7 Morgan- 7 Huth- 7 Fuchs- 8 Mahrez- 6 King- 6 Drinkwater- 7 Albrighton- 6 Okazaki- 7 Vardy- 7
The Blur Posted 23 November 2016 Posted 23 November 2016 Zieler 5- Erratic as usual. I think Kasper could have got a hand to their goal at least but who knows? Simpson 7- Can't complain with his performance Huth 6- Performed better than Morgan but shaky at times Morgan 5- Same as above Fuchs 7.5 - Impressive match- set up Okazaki's goal and also created another chance while being a menace in the first half. Contributed to dangerous gaps in defence in the second half otherwise I would have given him a 8. Mahrez 6- Some nice flicks and tricks. I cannot believe how much room he has in the first half. Drinkwater 8- Back at his best- controlled the game King 6- His usual steady self Albrighton 7.5- An useful outlet, hopefully he can get confidence from this match Okazaki 7- Lovely goal and great link play in the first half. Faded in second half. Vardy 7- Played his heart out and arguably along with Drinkwater is the only player who have consistently threatened through both halfs, shame about his offside goal. subs: Schlupp 6- Dangerous direct running- could have nabbed a goal and good vision to be involved in Gray's chance. Gray 7- Made an impact with some good passing and runs. Wasted a good chance though. Amartey 6- Did not do much- one good drive from midfield though- more of the same please!
Rileigh84 Posted 24 November 2016 Posted 24 November 2016 Zieler 6 - getting a raw deal from some fans I think. Simpson 7 - solid performance but nothing special Huth 7 - row z specialist as always. Decent game Morgan 6 - looked the shakier of the 4 at the back, didn't install confidence Fuchs 8 - great assist for Okazaki's goal and looked a threat marauding up the left flank all night Mahrez 6.5 - it's just not coming off for him at the moment still Drinkwater 7 - looked good again. King 7 - a fairly good performance by his standards Albrighton 8 - was all over the park causing trouble, was at fault however for the Brugge goal giving the ball away cheaply Okazaki 7 - good 1st half. Well taken goal. Faded as the game went on though Vardy 7 - like Mahrez, its not happening for him this season so far. But he looked more on it at least. subs: Schlupp 7 - starting to look a little more dangerous now he's running at players again. A frustrating player usually, but it was one of his better sub appearances Gray 7 - missed a sitter and probably should have scored 2, looks dangerous but guilty of trying too hard perhaps. Needs more time on the field to make it happen Amartey 6.5 - didn't really do much wrong, if 6/7 is a benchmark thats where he's at.

I did not think it was his fault. That was Albrighton. Had a solid game otherwise though.

I did not think it was his fault. It was Okazaki, lazy sloppy ball, only had to pass it two yards, dropped Fuchs right in the shit
Chico1958 Posted 24 November 2016 Posted 24 November 2016 Zieler 6............................................ I'd love to see him have a rant when the players in front of him let him down Simpson 8.............................................Possibly best player on the night Huth 6.............................................Still making me nervous Morgan 6.............................................Ditto Fuchs 7.............................................Good game, pity about their goal, but forgiven due to the cross to Okazaki for the goal Mahrez 6.............................................Pen was ok, needs to find some new tricks. Drinkwater 6.............................................Looked like he's carrying a knock King 6.............................................Competent, but nothing mor Albrighton 6.............................................Ditto Okazaki 6............................................Hurts to score him low, but I feel he was 50% to blame for their goal Vardy 7............................................Lively, menace, Needs a goal for Leicester subs: Schlupp 6............................................I hope WBA were not watching Gray 7........................................... Looked lively when he came on but really should have put one of his chances away or passed to Vardy Amartey 7............................................Put himself about when he came on, consistency and confidence seems to be his biggest problem Brugge First Half 4................................. Should have finished them off by half time Brugge Sec Half 6..................................Although we didn't need it in the end, made for a nervous 45 minutes It really was a game of two halves, let's get Porto out of the way and get to mid table in the league. I don't want to go into January more concerned about our league position than thinking about Cardiff in June
Renart Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 What is it with some fans and Zieler? I don't think he commands the area like KS but I really do not think he warrants anything below a 6, and certainly not a 2 or 3! To say he was at fault for the goal is just ludicrous!
