Leeds fans at Liverpool last night

Recommended Posts

I went to the game last night  in a corporate box  .

Amazing Leeds away fans ( No stupid clackers needed just totally committed loyal fans . )

They sung before , during and after the game  without a break .

Some great songs ,funny ,witty ,offensive , rude , and generally took the pish out of the Liverpool fans library -who are rubbish even with another 10,000 fans  in tithe ground now

we should get behind our  Team  just like they do  !

our team needs us Now -

There's a lot of difference with that compared to us.

When we were in the championship and we drew a good premier league team in the cup we were just like that.

For Leeds it's a great and unusual game where they can cause an upset.

Guess you had to be there to to appreciate how they never stopped singing  and got even louder when they were loosing

just great fans

I remember plenty of Leicester games where the fans were much better TBH.

Brugge away was brilliant this season but hasn't been replicated. As I said above, it's difficult considering we've generally been hammered on our away trips this season, but our away atmosphere is gradually turning into our home atmosphere in terms of only small sections singing.

I went with a Leeds-supporting mate who I went to watch Charlton vs Leeds with last season. I saw two Nazi salutes before I even got into the ground. Scummiest support in England, we should not be more like them.

Not telling you what you did or didn't see..but there's such thing as a "Leeds Salute" that you might have got it confused with.

I know a lot of Leeds fans and they are generally just on the wind up 24/7, don't take themselves very seriously at all, good for a laugh and produce some good atmospheres.

Leeds are in the top three most consistent away supports in the country. Yes, they've got some unsavoury nobheads among them but everyone in their away ends seems to get why they're all there - to back their team and enjoy themselves. Vast majority of our lot just don't have that mentality.

Leeds are like that every single game, not just the big nights at Anfield.

There is no comparison to be drawn between us and them, they are passionate supporters and it's quite incredible how they still travel in such big numbers after that long in the wilderness.

Leeds have always had their fair share of idiots but you can't deny their support (especially away) is quality. They always did and still do take large numbers away to all corners on the country. I for one would love to see Leeds back in the PL

This. They know the score as away fans.

You obviously have been to one of their home games!

They are just like most other teams, away following are always better than the home.

Bit difficult when you're 4-0 down most of the game or just concede 30 seconds in.

Is it? That's when I feel like singing the most, because I know my team needs me.

At Old Trafford nobody was bothered. We were rolling out the old players.

It was more fun than silence.

Oh I agree. In terms of my OP though considering in these games we have been 3 or 4 down it's no wonder we've been silenced.

Leeds fans can be accused of many things, racist, scummy, vile, disgusting, but you can't call them quiet (at least not away from home) every game at the Walkers/KP and Filbo they have brought fans in numbers and out sung us, even if it is the same chant over and over again.
