You're welcome, there was more including this beauty 'bulb off'....

"Bulb off, Ndidi there really is not the type of player.
Which will bring its tranfer in danger? Bulb yourself off. Who even says that he's going to play? His departure he will still get but would not surprise me that he will not every game will play.Suppose he incurs an injury ..."

He seems like a fan favorite, and what we need is a player that can break up the other team's play, I don't care if he is not a good passer, let Drinkwater pass. And unleash this beast in the mid to get some interceptions

21 year Old. African, plays defensive midfield or CB or RB. Sounds very similar than Amartey. Hope he is better than Amartey otherwise this would be a waste of money.... We need players that are ready now hope this is not another one for the future, we have a lot of them.

Buy the most promising youngsters, bring them through, sell for a profit, repeat.

Sounds like a recipe for long term sustainable success to me.

It's exactly how I approach things on football manager, too, so

Having watched a lot of Genk in the last 48 hours (mostly Europa League), I believe he's an upgrade on Amartey and King, and he's ready for our first 11 IMO.

So if we sign Silva and Ndidi, who plays in our cm two?

What a great problem to have for a change, would be able to play a 3 as well (finally)

To be fair, Amartey was 20 when we signed him and we won't sign Ndidi til he's 20.

We've always been able to play a 3 though haven't we?

Not with confidence at the moment with Drinky and Mendy out. Fingers crossed Mendy has a run out tomorrow.

Surely that's more of a reason to play with a 3?

It's the bring them through bit I'm worried about at the moment. I see your point but if we are spending that much on him hopefully it's on the basis that he's good enough now.

Hope so. We need someone now to play that role. We all know and have seen how quickly things change for us in football. I'm all for buying young players. But they should be young players that have a shot at getting in the first 11. Especially at that amount.

Agree our midfield looks weak and we need to improve on Amartey and king. But We might buy someone else who's definitely ready now. Or Mendy might come back and form a top partnership with Drinky. Regardless of that, buying good young players for relatively (by 2016 standards) low sums is never a bad idea even if they don't immediately improve the team, or even get in it. I think we have enough money not to have to worry about it being either/or anymore, we can have both.

The boy sounds like an absolute monster, just what we need in midfield.

I'd still like to get Silva in as well, as it'll be a big ask for a lad who's just turned 20 to go from the Belgian league to the Premier League overnight, but I'd be delighted to see us bring him in gradually.

Also, this may be a stupid question, but will the fact that he's played in the EL affect his playing in the CL if needed?

Silva won't be able to play in the champions league.

I know Silva can't, it's Ndidi I was thinking of.

No I don't think you can play for two teams if you've played in the proper round (group stages) of a European competition.

Ndidi can play in the Champions League for us...one player can play in the Europa league group stages and then play for Leicester.
