I think he deliberately tells the team to keep it tight and 0-0 to half time. He did that alot towards the end of last season when it was appropriate and it worked.

 

This season so far it's just negative and pointless as we inevitably concede posession, chances and normally an early goal.

 

We need to put them on the back foot from the first minute and set a tempo, let them know we can get at them.

I for one are going to be singing all game and being positive. These are still my heroes from last season and I believe they will turn this around.  I know the players are being paid thousands and aren't putting in 100%, but they will react better to positively than booing and moaning.

I'm hoping this is the catalyst for getting our act together, a bit of professional pride. Maybe the players subconsciously took their foot off the gas asa they knew they weren't good enough to retain the title and a 6th-10th finish was a formality? Well the last four league games should tell them we are now in a relegation battle, fixtures don't get any easier than West Brom, Watford, Middlesbrough and Sunderland. It's time to pull your fingers out by giving 100% and start getting some results.

I'll be singing, but it will take a bit of help from the players to create a genuinely loud atmosphere. If they're up for it from the whistle, put in the challenges and chase down, any crowd pressure will lift instantly.

 

Problem is, we haven't gone in from the first whistle all season.
