So Wham want Defoe.

Palace want big Sam.

Right now if both happen I feel we are in a weaker position.

I feel right now if these happen we are in a weak position. We need to be cute in our January business.

We can't rely on Blunderland Swansea and Dull being shite. We proved that two years ago.

Wham will be better up front and going forward. Defoe will also bring fight and spirit. Palace we all know what Sam can do.

I've said it before i'll say it again.

It's defence we've gotta worry about, leaky as ****.

Up front is a concern but imo it's only a concern because of how poor the defence is/the service, listen let's be honest we need to strengthen all over but start at the back.

Morgan and Huth need replacing asap, Morgan more than Huth.

So what do you want us to do? Sack Ranieri and appoint Allardyce? If WH sign Defoe it makes Sunderland weaker.

We should be more worried about teams above us if we want to progress. We have underperformed in the league so far. Defoe leaves Sunderland and that's them down I think anyway. Palace may do better under Big Sam. They will stay up with him but it won't be at our expense.

Sorry Webbo where the fvck did I say sack CR?

My point was I feel Wham and Palace are stronger if both happen. Yes Sunderland are weaker that's one spot.

Do you not feel Wham and Palace are rivals atm?

My point is the more clubs involved the better. I feel both could rise if both happen.

Don't try to twist what I said.

West Ham are not a serious relegation rival.

We're not relegation fodder either unless Ranners completely loses the plot and refuses to strengthen the team in January.

So what's your point? Teams that are struggling are trying to improve themselves, has it ever been different?

If noone comes in, then the Emperor must go as soo as we are in bottom 3.... It would show a complete lack of understanding of the situation if he did not.

Ps- I say Emperor, because that is what he is; and if we go down despite buying in defenders and midfielders then the Emperor stays.

We have a chance to try out Amartey at CB against Everton. I hope we do instead of Hernandez as it would be interesting to see how he gets on. It could well be we have the replacement already but he's filling in at CM.

For the record I still think Morgan and Huth can cut it but Morgan has played so many games continously perhaps of we had cover he could be better managed game time wise not just now but moving forwards too.

I think Palace are probably sensible in wanting to appoint Allardyce, because he will stabilize them in the league at least, given their position too. Defoe is a goalscorer, so he will most likely do alright at West Ham should a move come about. However, if Defoe does move, he is Sunderland's main striker so it wouldn't be good for them - not only his goals but his overall play is key to Sunderland. Makes me think if that were to happen, they might start looking at Ulloa as a priority.

As @Tuna points out, and I agree with him, I think long term in the season us & West Ham aren't relegation candidates. I genuinely feel both teams will start to come good or go on runs at some stage. I can see us becoming better throughout the season more so than West Ham in fact, but a lot will depend on the January recruitment of teams 17th & upwards.

Are you just looking for a fight?

Right now we are in a fight as are Wham and Palace. If the reported happens both could be some what better. Or do you think we are going to win the league.

Did I not say we need to be cute in January. We are in a fight right now. All I'm doing is asking for thoughts. Yet you jump in accusing me of wanting CR sacked.

Really? Ask some I don't turn on my team or manager lightly. Most well 95% had us down two years ago while I said we would stay up.

You said we'd stay up after we'd been bottom for 5 months but you think we're in danger now?

Yes we could be very easy.

That team showed fight every game.

Sadly that seems lacking this season.

It was also a huge part of last season. We don't look like we have that most games this season

What did you think of Ranieri being appointed at the time?

Like any player we sign I give everyone a chance. I thought he would be ok ish mid table. Like most that would have done.

Finally, an adequate replacement for Andrew Ridgeley!

"Old guns having some fun, crazy passes keep us on the run..."

Are you sure this rumour isn't just a careless whisper?

A couple of wins and we'll be looking upwards.

I've seen enough fight and quality in the last couple of weeks to believe that we won't go down. Win the next 2 home games and we'll be sat in the comfort of midtable.

Fair enough. Your initial reaction to him being linked wasn't that positive though. "WTF No" in big bald letters.

Is it that easy.

One of two centre backs missing.

First choice left back missing.

Our star striker missing.

All we need is an injury now.

I'd be quite happy for Defoe to leave Sunderland, makes them 10x weaker.

Even though we can't rely on teams being shitter than us, I can't see Swansea Hull and Sunderland (and even Burnley and Palace for that matter) bettering our results in the remainder of the season
