Is it just me that thinks there is some sort of trial going on with video reffing? The challenge from Huth was saved play on by the ref for him to change his mind a few seconds later and give the free kick. It felt like an age for some of the decisions to be given. He may have just been giving himself thinking time but I don't get why you'd wave play on to come back and give the foul.

I know we won the league with him playing on the left... but what a difference it made to switch Albrighton to the right. He was superb.

Definitely.

With Mahrez off to AFCON we might get to see more of Albrighton on his natural side.  He is probably the best crosser of the ball that we've got when he plays on the right.

If we got a silly offer for 'hot and cold' Mahrez I wouldn't be against letting him go.

Albrighton was every where yesterday one of his better games of the season, sometimes I look at Mahrez and feel if we had sold him in the summer would we have missed that much? great players yes but he's certainly having a disapointing year, some weeks he can be amazing other weeks like yesterday he can disappear from games and when having the ball he loses it two easy.

Andy Carroll's dive was perfectly timed. No chance of getting the ball so just throws himself over then gets up limping for a second before running upfield pain-free. Top marks, Harry the Hornet would've struggled to beat that one.

A great result, much needed and a great goal by Slimani. Chilwell had a really good game and it was good to see Albrighton having a good game. Great to keep a clean wheat as well

Love this from a Wet Spammer....

" On another note, after 6+ years away, can somebody explain to me in what parallel universe it was that Leicester City won the Premier League last year, they were bloody awful with pretty much the same team. Kante must have been 100 times better than he looked on TV. Is it correct that Huth, Simpson, Gray and others have got league winners medals and Moore, Brooking and Bonds haven't?
Scratchy head and

The spammers should watch the replay slim should of had a hat trick in the first half they were lucky not to be five down at half time. Hope we start the same today.

Those spammers watched a different match, if you read their forums most think they had all but twenty minutes of the game, yet even the MoTD stats show 40-60% possession game.

We got behind them quite a bit, even in the second half when we sat back, defending the lead for twenty or so minutes before starting to get at them again.

They did have a few good chances but mostly from all the free kicks the ref gave them when ever a gust of wind blew them over and that is what they mostly are now, a set piece team that dives a lot near the opposition box.

Still think the god awful referee should have booked that dirty cheat in the number 30? shirt for simulation when he threw himself down in the penalty box instead of just waving play on and their number 20 fell over more times than I can remember.
