GingerrrFox Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 I'd start that team from now on. We were dynamite at times today!
MPH Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 There was enough in that game to make me think there is still some work to do but also enough to give the players confidence to press on and get there. i think slimani Okazaki is my dream pair right now if we play two up front...
Tielemans63 Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 Albrighton is a real asset. He just needs to be played on the right side of the pitch. Not his fault he's been looking uncomfortable on the left flank the last few weeks and he's not beeb moved.
dannythefox Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 Decent today. Play to the players strengths and the teams strengths and this is what happens. Also all the 11 defended well today as a unit.
Guest Cujek Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 Well done lads West ham fans saying the ref was on our side on their forums, damn cockneys.
adejo92 Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 Great 3 points, glad they made me eat my words.

Koke Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 At this rate Kasper Schmeichel will run away with Leicester City POTY in May.

They thought that they are a big team after finishing 7th last year. Nothing from a west ham supporter should surprise you any more.
ozvaldo Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 That ref was more useless that my 2 inch limp cock when the wife is gagging for it. And I've been circumcised twice. I'm surprised the wife hasn't ****ed off with a big black sweaty African.

Not his fault he's been played on the wrong flank the last few weeks. He's been playing on the wrong flank since Claudio took over. Somehow we won the league with him there... probably because he was in the best form of his life, could play balls over the top to an in form Vardy, or could switch the play to an in form Mahrez (who'd then be 1 on 1 with the fullback). Vardy hasn't been given space to run into though, and Mahrez has hardly been his best or been allowed to be 1 on 1, so it's been obvious to play Albrighton on the right instead (but maybe Claudio just had too much faith what worked in last season to change it earlier). Hopefully with AFCON coming up, he can continue to preform as well as today on the right. WhoScored's MOTM today. 4 tackles, 2 interceptions, 3 clearances, and only 2 of 11 accurate crosses but both great.
TrentFox Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 The boys have just won. We're the champions. We're in the next round of the CL. It's NYE. The champagne has just been opened in my house. And there's £15m of 'future' being unveiled tomorrow. What a fabulous day. I'm glad we've been crap for a few weeks - just makes evenings like this even better as it reminds me what most of the last 12 years have been like. Have a great one and stay safe one and all.

Its funny how distance changes perspective :-) By distance you mean local radio for the side we're playing. Of course they'd focus on any decisions going against them - you won't get a balanced picture from them anymore than you would from stringer.
Crazy Kop Corner Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 I was right behind the shot that deflected off of Chilwell (I think) and it was in. Not a flash save but amazing reflexs that Zieler doesn't possess. Well done Claudio for tweaking the team. Should have done it before but that god he did today. BTW the ref was a total muppet.
ealingfox Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 As said in match thread, refereeing across the whole league is sinking to new depths. Just not good enough so consistently.

Perhaps as much as we knew that Nordtveit should have walked, they felt the same way over Amartey. Dreadful Second Half performance by Taylor from every perspective.

AmarteyAndChill Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 How did their right back not get sent off?

murphy Posted 31 December 2016 Posted 31 December 2016 Needed that! Maybe I'm naive but I'd like to see us gamble, play to our strengths and take the game to the opposition even if we are in a winning position like we did in the first half, rather than sit back and hope we can keep them out. So was worse, this year's referee v WH or last year's?
