Pretty much Hamilton’s title now... another superb drive, unlucky for max after what was a great pass to be denied that podium very harsh. Future world champion no doubt

As opposed to before the race where it hanged in the balance? lol

lol well a dnf and Vettel win could have made it a little nervy but today has pretty much confirmed it for sure. It has gone from 95% likely to 99.9%

Was unusual to see Hamilton keep right up with Vettel at the start let alone make the pass, he usually makes a habit of keeping his distance in such situations.

I must be the only person who liked that driver introduction, its the US Grand Prix and it was an American sort of thing to do, they're more than welcome to put their stamp on things. I don't even like boxing either lol

That Verstappen thing was 100% correct. Drivers going off the track all day has nothing to do with it, going wide off the track on your own is not the same as overtaking somebody off it. It was playstation stuff.

Indeed it was.

It was also **** because these penalities are so inconsistently applied.

If Vettel pulls this move, does he get the penalty?  Of course not.  He can barge into Hamilton and Stroll and get away with it.

There's a hierarchy in F1, always has been, always will be and certain drivers are favoured/penalised depending on how you look at it.

I agree with the stewards on Verstappen too. You can't just cut the inside of a corner like you're starting the first lap on Gran Turismo. Even the official F1 video games penalise you for cutting corners.

Should be a leisurely Sunday drive to the title for Hamilton. he'll probably have harder drives on the m25!

Maybe not

Why was he getting involved in all that? Bit daft, just stay out of trouble at the start.

So, what's the penalty for Vettel for causing a collision... "twice"?

Plain as day to see he deliberately turned into Hamilton for some afters when being passed by Verstappen and Lewis.

And Hamilton questions the move over the radio - absolutely right imo.  He's turned into him.

Congrats to Hamilton.  Well deserved.

Let's wait on Vettel to hear the excuses - he'll have to come up with two today after turns 2 and 3 at the start.  He's running out of passes surely?

Blatant cheating goes unpunished!
