The writing is on the wall 1 goal in the last 6 league games - Everton, West Ham, Boro, Chelsea, Southampton, Burnley. Scored in 2 of the last 8 games if you include Stoke and Bournemouth. Almost all bottom half sides when we played them.
ChownLC Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 and some people still think we're not in a relegation battle.
DennisNedry Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Already conceded more goals this season than last season. Lost 4x as many games already this season as last.

Koke Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 We've 2 clean sheets in the league since we beat Burnley in September. We've got 4 clean sheets all season in the league. Arsenal Burnley West Ham Middlesbrough

adam Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 That's an unbelievable stat on vardy. To be fair though he is the most isolated man on the planet when he plays up front for us

Chown Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 We were bottom of the league for 140 days in 2014/15 and stayed up. We haven't been in the drop zone for a single day yet. Don't worry, I'm not crazy, we are definitely in a relegation battle and in big trouble. Just more making the fact that you can pick stats to support any particular argument.
crazyleicester Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 It doesnt look good but you only have to look at Liverpool to what fine lines footballers tread and how things can change so quickly. They have gone from a side in both cups and 2nd in the league to being dumped out of two cups and slipping 4th with even Champions League looking a touch task. They have strikers and offensive players like Sturridge, Firmino. Mane, Origi and Coutinho but there cup and league form reads...DLLLW (v Plymouth), DLDD. At the moment sides like Burnley, Bournemouth, Watford and Swansea are over achieving (based on squad strength) and we need to start getting our good players playing again. It may feel like doom and gloom but we are more than capable of turning of United like we did Man City and then we look a billion dollars again!

I was making the point that you can cherry pick stats to support any argument. I even made it clear in my post that we're in big trouble. But thanks for not reading my post properly and, if anything, supporting it with your reply. You're 100% right, the 140 day stat is totally irrelevant.

And suddenly all sorts of factors are looking worrying quite apart from the turmoil inside our club that needs fixing and fast. .
