A point I made weeks ago. Its not just at Leicester that this had happened, yet many on this very thread are acting like it is. Seriously, do your research. It's no exaggeration to say that some who have read about Ranieri's managerial career would have even predicted it. Totally agree.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 February 2017 Author Posted 6 February 2017 Who else is out there that would keep us up? Its one thing wanting Ranners out but who would take over? why can't Ranners keep us up?

Its one thing wanting Ranners out but who would take over? why can't Ranners keep us up? Because we have got considerably worse under him. His past suggestions that there is only one way to go. he has failed to "manage" his team. His coaching staff or his support teams (recruitment and strength and condition). He's failed to adapt new imports to a team. He couldn't pick a talented player if it came a bit him on his back side. Forget the mistakes here. Anyone remember his King Veron quote? Alex Ferguson went laughing all the way to the bank. His interviews inspire no confidence. He's everyone's friend. He's not a good long term manager.
Spiritwalker Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Pundits and the national media seem to find it ridiculous that we are calling for a managerial change, but Leicester fans have watched a team with no direction and no belief and no sign of this changing.

One thing that Mina said I noticed is that fans of Roma, Juventus; Valencia etc got tired of him because after every defeat he'd act so carefree and nonchalant in the post match interviews. We see it happen here. 4 straight defeats and no league goal in 2017 but if you listened to CR in his interviews you'd think we were midtable with nothing to play for. Do you think, nailing the players to the wall, as Mourinho did last season at Chelsea, would help in our situation?

Koke Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 Watching Ball Street taking about Ranieri Funny that the only one talking sense is the Spurs fan. He's spot on.

Seeing that you're a derby fan, that is a surprise that you take such a keen interest in us.

For now. Let's see how the players will react to it against Derby and, above all, Swansea.

Joefox Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 The championship is such a difficult league to get out of if you don't come straight back up. Just the thought of going back to that league makes me feel a little bit sick. 32 minutes ago, Mickyblueeyes said: I am so disappointed. ****ing championship football next year. Bloody bollocks. If we do get relegated I think a fairly long dark period awaits whilst we try to rid ourselves of something akin to post traumatic stress.
HankMarvin Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 The rot has set in, i cant see how anythings going to change. a, Tried same formation as last year didnt work b, tried different formations after admitting players dont want to change, got tonked didnt work. c. revert back to a, got tonked didnt work
Struwwelpeter60 Posted 6 February 2017 Posted 6 February 2017 15 minutes ago, Mickyblueeyes said: Changing formation 2 hours before a game is Sunday league for god sake. What a nonsense. Many managers change formations even several times during a match, because they have to react to what the other side is doing on the pitch, because injuries make a change necessary, because the score calls for a new formation etc. If our players are overwhelmed by a formation change 2 hours before kick-off, they are completely inept and should all be fired. Pearson in 2014/15 changed his formations more often than his underpants.
