Keep Ranieri

I've given up hoping we will turn a corner, this is the most inept Side to win the title one season and make a pigs ear of it the next.

however Claudio Ranieri has never turned on his players and deserves great credit for this, some of the players performances do not deserve credit

save Ndidi Kasper and one or two others and think about a major clear out in the summer, whatever division we are in.

Leicester City are what I care about but I also want us to treat Ranieri the way he has treated us, with respect and dignity, anything other is a complete and utter disgrace

This is where I am concerned if we keep Claudio though. He had the perfect opportunity in this window, to bring in 3-4 players and drop some of the current woefully underperforming players. He didn't do it.

I'm concerned he is too passive in his approach to everything, including making tough decisions about dropping the so called "top" players of our team. If he stays, whether we stay up or go down, I can still see a situation where we are starting the new season with the same back 4. Terrifying!

In an ideal world Ranieri should have the key to Leicester and a statue built next to the clock tower. The players have let themselves and Claudio down.Player power should not win no matter what. IF they have fallen out with him,the owners need to take a stand nd comw out and categorically state they will not sack him then it's upto the players to put up or shut up.

I need a list of contract expiration dates and estimated wages for our squad because I doubt there will be a clear out next season.

If we drop out of this league we're for sure going to break any financial fair play rules unless there is a get out clause saying we dock your wages if we get down. Then again I don't think any lawyer would have thought that could happen on last season's euphoria.

In an ideal world mate I'd agree, I really think we owe Ranieri that much, that being said I don't know how we'd cope with relegation. I'd rather not take a risk with Ranieri, I'd prefer to risk trying to bring in Gary Monk now, it's a sad day.

Keep Ranieri in the club, he's earned that, but as DoF.

Rudkin has shown himself to be utterly inept through two very poor transfer windows, while Ranieri has a wealth of contacts within the game as well as the ability to command enormous respect. I'd advocate moving CR upstairs to replace Rudkin, bring in either a new young manager now or Hiddinck until we can find such a man to do the job on a long term basis.

Unfortunately though, his tenure as manager has become untenable. He's lost the dressing room and there is clearly no way we can stay up if we keep going the way we are. There's a world of difference between gratitude for what he achieved last season and sleepwalking to the Championship out of sentiment.

He lacks idea. He doesn't seem to motivate the players, strange selections and subs consistently all topped off with poor recruitment. He cannot get us out of this mess.

Even if we do have a major clear out (in whichever division) I don't believe he can change.

Me neither.

It's patently obvious that he was the only man who could deliver us the title last year, but equally obvious that he isn't the man to get us out of the mire now.

Spot on.

I felt the same but today for me has been a turning point. The bottom of the table seems too close now, and I can't see how we're going to avoid it. No man is bigger than the club. I have no idea who I would want to replace him though.

ONLY if the new DOF doesn;t get involve with transfers

Ranieri buys players but doesn't play them in the EPL..let him be incharge of the academy

Kasper's post match interview was the biggest clue (as if we needed any more) that the players are not with the manager. He's got to go.

I love ya Bob, you know that....but I don't agree this time mate.

He don't have a clue how to turn this around and should have gone at Christmas.

We should have got someone else in and given them time and a transfer window.

I fear the bloke who saw us presided over us lifting the Prem title will be the same bloke who takes us down into the Championship.

Amazing that it could ever come to this. I'm still bewildered and quite speechless. There are STILL some posters on this forum saying that we played quite well tonight.

Its staggering stuff really. And really sad.
