WASYL - could he be used in a capacity at the club?

So basically Dickov22 still can't admit Wasyl has been a good player for us. This summer or next he'll probably call time, but he's been a fantastic man to have around. Not sure how you can call him a thug anyway - beyond the chelsea sending off has he ever done anything that wrong?

With his no-nonsense attitude could he be used in a training capacity at the club when his contract expires?

He always seems very professional and focused and could be a "kick-in the ass" motivator and driver of the players that seem to need some sort of "strong-man" to fire things up... just a thought!

I think the only reason he got an extra years contract was because he's good to have around

It's posts like this that I despair in. I really don't think you comprehend or value what goes on in a club or dressing room. Throw away comments like this are pretty much what I hate about the characters on FT.

I know a lot more than you do about what's going on. Wasilewski is a terrible footballer now. Unfair on him and us that's he's still a first team squad player.

As a Terminator. Send him back in time to kill the mothers of players that score against us.

He was ok in the season before the great escape season , and towards the end of that one. Well past it now though.

Why keep him around?! We never keep ex players here so what makes him a special candidate?

He was very good in the championship, one of our best defenders in the great escape season even before the switch to 3 at the back and a perfectly good deputy last season. You do him a massive disservice.

He will do a good job if we play in the Championship next year. His level is something between PL and CS, not quite fast and good enough in PL but more than good enough in the Cs. Better to keep him than spend money on new players before we are back in PL.

He's shit at football and is a thug. Utter disgrace that he's anywhere near the first team now. Wouldn't want him at the club in any capacity next season.

Harsh!

He was an integral important part of the great escape side.

You haven't answered my question though. Assuming he's been a 'good' player for us like you said, why do you want to keep him at the club once he stops playing? What makes him any different from any other player we've had for a few years?

Just can't believe you could think that. Huth and Morgan probably aren't good enough for the Championship now, let alone Wasilewski. Think you're underestimating the standard of that division.

Have to back Dickov22 up here - Has a fantastic contact at the club.

Haha quite hilarious to think he's even considered doing his badges. He's a nutcase. Not the Stuart Pearce or Jaap Stam kind. More like Ben Thatcher. Doesn't really seem the type to give up family time to further himself in the game. Could see him in an ambassadorial role eventually at Anderlecht.

Following through social media he seems to be the one going out of his way to look after kapustka. Makes sense given they're both compatriots but an attitude like that would be good to have around the youth system.

Couldn't care less Bert and why would you back him up?

He could work at the club for all I care but it doesn't make it okay for him to come on here and abuse players.

'Abuse players'

Hilarious- I didn't realise you weren't allowed to give an opinion on a player on a fans forum. I'm sure you never have.

I think Wasyl displays too many of the 'dark arts' to be coaching modern day footballers. Just my opinion. I'd rather have someone like Wes Morgan involved with the youth team once he retired to be honest.

Thats right 'abuse players' - you might say that you don't think Wasyl is of Prem standard, you might question his temperament. You might even say that you have contacts at the club and that you believe to understand some situations.

What however isn't alright is to state as fact that a player is a 'thug' and a 'shit footballer.' And what also isn't alright is to state that you 'know more than anybody else' because those statements at best are arrogant and ignorant and at worst are abusive and liablous.

Theres only one personification of hilarity in this thread - and that's you.

Provide cover for Chilwell to take throw in's.

He would be the scariest manager ever to be on the wrong side of and he's worked under Big Nige, this sounds like a done deal to me.

Why can't I say if I think he's a shit footballer now? Would 'rubbish' be ok? I've called him a thug for the entire time he's been here, because I think he acts like one on the pitch.

I can say what I like on a fans forum, thank you. I'm sure Wasyl doesnt care what I think.
