He's shit at football and is a thug. Utter disgrace that he's anywhere near the first team now. Wouldn't want him at the club in any capacity next season.

Assuming you dont like him?

I think Wasyl displays too many of the 'dark arts' to be coaching modern day footballers. Just my opinion. I'd rather have someone like Wes Morgan involved with the youth team once he retired to be honest.

A guy who can't pass the ball 5 yards on the floor?  A captain who couldn't be less visibly inspirational?  That's going to help the young lads

Ah, Dickov is foaming at the mouth again, because someone mentioned Wasyl might be useful. As for Marcin's motivational skill I remember a match our national team played against Montenegro in Podgorica. It was September 2012. After the first half we were losing 1:2 and the lads were seriously out of hope. We made it a draw only because Wasyl spent whole half-time break giving a speech to the rest of the team, in which he basically convinced them to pull their shit together and fight like real men. When they got to the pitch for the second half they were like a completely different team.

Get him a podium in our dressing room for the rest of the season then.

I'm pretty sure it was you I argued about a few years back when I said Michael Keane would be a top defender, and you told me Wasyl was better?

Anyway, there are far more things to be 'foaming at the mouth' about this season. Wasyl is the least of this club's problems.......

You don't win the league twice without having an inspirational captain. His legs might have gone this season but his contributions to this club have been magificent.

I dont know him as a person but as a player, I dont like him, no. Embarrassing that he's anywhere near our first team squad and also unfair on him that he's asked to step in and be expected to perform when he barely plays.

I'm sure he was no doubt about it. Anderlecht fans adore him.

You are wrong, as usual. It wasn't me.

I'm not sure his legs having gone means he has to aimlessly hoof every "pass" he makes?

Tbf i find it quite refreshing in a league mostly filled with players falling like they've been shot after getting the slightest of touches, that there is still a few tough guys in football, yeah he's a bit reckless and isn't the best, but I've never seen him give less than 100% for the team. Something that couldn't be said for a lotta the first team

No but lack of confidence probably are the reason he does that.

I'd now out him out there as he is the only player we have with any balls. Despite his limited playing ability and potential for red cards

You're a braver man than me....

With his no-nonsense attitude could he be used in a training capacity at the club when his contract expires?

He always seems very professional and focused and could be a "kick-in the ass" motivator and driver of the players that seem to need some sort of "strong-man" to fire things up... just a thought!

Steward. If he tells me to sit down, I'm sitting down.

I think you're a bit over the top here. He's certainly declined and shouldn't be a first team player. The fact he is isn't his fault. I don't agree he's shit at football. He's had a pretty decent career at a pretty decent level of the game. He wouldn't have done that by being shit. As to being a thug, he hasn't got a terrible disciplinary record. Off the field I don't know enough about him to make a qualified statement. I do seem to recall Pearson praising his attributes as a character to have around the dressing room and I have to say that I don't think he's ever given less than 100% effort on the pitch and been a decent squad player for us. Now though is the time for him to go. He should probably have retired at the end of the season before last. I don't see a role for him at the club nor would I think he would want one. When he goes he goes with my good wishes and thanks for what he has done.  I certainly don't think he warrants a load of vitriol.

I would never give him abuse, I'm simply giving my opinion of him as a footballer on a fans forum. It happens all the time. I wish him well when he retires but I don't want him to stay here and coach because I don't think he deserves it.

I judge him as a thug because of things like the Costa elbow, the Berahino elbow. And I'd agree he probably once was a good player. He isn't now though. He's terrible.

I dont understand the clamour for him staying on at the club. Why should he above other players who've payed for us before? Its just my opinion.

Neither do I. I actually feel quite sad when I see him play. As i said I think he should have retired on the back of the great escape. Would have been the perfect way to bow out.

Love the bloke and always have. I would much rather see him at CB than Huth and Morgan at this moment in time.

Quite frankly I would drop The back 4, Drinkwater, Mahrez and Vardy and give them all a kick up the arse
