I'm not on about that, i'm on about the fact everyone was celebrating and gloating after being 1 nil up after the first leg and thinking we had the tie won , only to go and get beat in the 2nd leg. If we get beat at home we won't have stayed in the competition any longer than arsenal have.

Think we'll be quite lucky - if they ref in the first round of fixtures (ie last night) they don't tend to in the second round. Not only did Arsenal have the Greek chap that needed reminding of the rules by his goal line official in order to reach the correct decision, but in charge of the Napoli/Real Madrid game was our friend Cakir who took charge of Porto at home.

Basingstoke Fox Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Lets not let West Ham off the hook too easily either.

Yeah we need the same intensity away from home as well, a bit like how we came through at Upton Park in our first away game last season. It's a superb opportunity to get our first away win of the season. I'd love it so much if we get through in the CL though. Sevilla are going to come up against a completely different side in terms of intensity and pressing. The atmosphere is going to be pretty special too.

Really hope so, the club should take all the seats out for this one game. (and enforce seating in the away end as well as blasting land of hope and glory though the tannoys at them)

waylander Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 The problem with Arsenal they don't seem to ten two their work properly.
Aus Fox Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 But we had an easier group they all said as we beat the team top of the league in Belgium! What the feck did they think as they lost over two legs to the team 8th in Belgium!
foxy boxing Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Arsenal have been an embarrassment in the Champions league for years never getting past the second round, we've reached the knockout stage in our first season and could still qualify for the next round. yes we got the easiest group going but you still have to win those matches. while spurs were so desperate for Champions League football and got knocked out at the group stage. for a club like Arsenal twenty years in the Champions league and one final appearance that is REALLY embaressing

And if we go through next week they will say we got an "easier" draw" (Sevilla are 3rd in Spain). I hope we go through and draw Benfica next round. The amount of people who will get rustled is hilarious. Whereas in reality, Spurts got the easiest group.... the lowest ranked (after LCFC, obviously) pot 1 club, the lowest ranked pot 2 club and the club that finished third in France. And they still didn't qualify.
