terrible fielding from Sri Lanka. Choking and cracking under the pressure.

To be fair to Malinga, the 2nd 'dropped' catch was a much more difficult one than the Perera one.

That was pretty special from Pakistan in those circumstances. Sarfraz, especially, and Amir have done brilliantly to get their team through.

Sri Lanka did the same as well lol

wonder what result here is a shock in @Walkers eyes

are we seriously still going on about this? lol

Furthermore India haven't always got on well in English conditions, and South Africa are tournament chokers.

These are the best 8 teams in the world ffs, as big a shock as Bangladesh making it out of their group was even they aren't that bad a one day side. Obviously your perception of the word shock is a lot different to mine. Djokovic losing to some bloke in a French open early on is a shock to me. Pakistan/Sri Lanka beating SA/India is the equivalent of Everton beating Chelsea. You wouldn't expect it but it would be hardly surprising it it happened.

This is a shame.

England's Champions Trophy semi-final clash with Pakistan on Wednesday (14 June) at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, Wales is likely to feature a lot of empty seats.

While the match was previously sold out before the semi-finalists were decided, it has been revealed that 38 percent of the ticket buyers were Indian supporters.

attendances there in Cardiff have been shite anyway.

I don't know why it was seen as a logical place to be a venue for this tournament.

This. Don't understand why Old Trafford or Headingley weren't used.

England batting first, Roy finally dropped.

Tough pitch to bat on this. 250 will be a good score

also which prat decided to make a pitch like this. Make a pitch where we can get 300 and pakistan will crumble but nah fvck that lets produce a pitch that pakistan will thrive on

shock on the cards here

ICC prepare all pitches for the tournament.

England will probably get about 240-250.

Pakistan's batting isn't too great and England's bowlers are doing well. Think England will still win but not as convincingly as many would have thought!

Absolute shitta weren't expecting this especially with Amit out but fair play they have bowled and fielded well

Depressing, Morgan, Ali and Hales getting out to ridiculous shots and they take the blame for that total.

Now they can just have a swing for the powerplay, tragic, we are never going to win a major 50 over competition.

This comfortably the most angry I've been watching a cricket match since the 5-0 defeat in Australia, the phone has been thrown at the wall already.

In not one sport, do we ever show any basic discipline, the higher we attempt to get.

Its been laudable and Morgan and coaches should be praised, for dragging us out

of the trough, but...........We cant walk the walk...

This trophy was ours for the taking and weve completely bottled it today. Fair play pakistan bowled really well but this is better than a 210 wicket. I mean if pakistan can bat like this on it we should be more than capable ffs

Not even Pakistan can throw this away!

I'm just hoping the other 9 in the Pakistan team had a bet on England this morning!

The total was a disgrace really. Embarrassing.

Nothing is more depressing than bring Mooen Ali on when needing a wicket, he's been around forever and still averages 50 with the ball.

Stokes is also no good with the ball when pressure is on, tries too hard and goes for too many.

May as well bowl Wood out now looking for wickets.

When we collapse then we collapse...

The media have sold this team as 8-10 batters.

At 200 we should of posted 250, but like our footballers, they dont learn from within the same game.

I dont mind the dash and fearless, but today was the day for, the lower batting prudence....

Lower batsman were asked today to put in an avg shift..they couldnt..so the whole line up failed...

Where is the batting coach for the bowlers....????

Gotta give credit to Pakistan. Better in all departments really and not often you can say that. Usually something lets them down but great performance from them.

Wonder if Amir will be back for Sunday.
