Leicester69 Posted 19 April 2017 Posted 19 April 2017 Knockaert isn't suited to the PL, you can beat average players in the lower leagues with skill and tricks, but you need to play at pace in the PL...he lacks pace and wont cut it next season...shame for him as he is outstanding at a lower level, and wish him all the best, but not good enough for the PL
Rob1742 Posted 19 April 2017 Posted 19 April 2017 The best footballer I have ever met with regards to how he treats the fans. I have loads of stories of him, all which show what an amazing bloke he is. I still speak to him occasionally, and he is so positive and full of passion to succeed. He desperately wanted his chance in the PL, and was never given it and since he left I have been desperate for him to succeed. He loved it at Leicester in every way, but now he loves Brighton and I am so pleased he has been the key figure in them getting promotion. He he is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and It's even more fitting that a person that gives so much, has got a great return in such a difficult year for him personally.

Ozil, David Silva, Mata etc. Pace is an overrated attribute IMO.

HybridFox Posted 19 April 2017 Posted 19 April 2017 Personally don't think we'll be getting him. Not yet anyway. Likely to show loyalty to Brighton and give them one season at least in the Premier League

Charl91 Posted 19 April 2017 Posted 19 April 2017 He never got a fair crack in the premier league. Was gutted when he left. Would still have him back here in a flash!
TJB-fox Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 At the time, when he left it was exactly the right call for both him and the club- was just disappointing because we all felt he had slightly more to give. Done fantastically well for himself at Brighton and can't wait to see him in the Prem next year, although I hope Fuchs has him in his pocket both games
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 He was offered a contract here wasn't he, and turned it down. Lets see how he does in the Premiership.
foxy boxing Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 I hope he does well in the Premier League, a player to watch out for next season. Really interesting to see how he fares. good luck to him. he has probably matured a lot since he was here

Grewks Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 A lack of pace will see him struggle in a side where he is considered the 'main man'.

bluebeau Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 Has anyone else noticed that the 2 players that have possibly been most successful in The Championship this season are Knocky & Chris Wood, both ex LCFC! Knocky can be assured of a great reception when he comes back to The King Power, I don't think Leeds will be promoted this season.
