He’s not long turned 21 if he keeps going as he has in the past 2yrs where he’s gone from England U20 World Rugby championship winner, Eng A, England Snr & British & Irish Lion he certainly has the potential to be a great

Blamire & Radwan both in the England XV to play a France XV later this afternoon hoping to get themselves in for the summer/autumn North v South Nations Championship, Martin in also although he's off to Sarries so he don't count anymore.

Blamire has a good chance of making it & if not this then the 6N & WC squads, sadly i don't think Radwan will unless there are a lot of injuries as there are to many wingers.

Games at 17:15 & being shown on Rugby Pass TV & will be free, I believe its also on England's Youtube channel

Like all good things it takes time to build, you have to remember that they were only formed in 2021 (merger with Lichfield ladies) & only went pro in 23/24 season with their introduction into the newly formed PWR.

 

Like women’s football the pool of talent isn’t as wide as the men’s game so it’s always going to take longer to get that squad to resemble something that can compete as anyone who’s anyone will currently want to play for those teams with all the cream, just like in women’s football.

 

Behind the scenes the club are continuing to structure the women’s set up & only this season established a U23 development squad where they can start to build their own talent and hopefully with the success of the men’s team and Tigers name draw some of the top young talent in.

 

@Dr Marco As it's been quiet on the rugby front in here, a bit of Tigers woman news who have been busy in the off season.
The head coach Ross Bundy has moved on after 1 season going to Exeter as assistant coach, only announced last week so not replaced as yet but would like to think there is someone in pole position.
In the meantime Fraser Goatcher who moved up to Director of W Rugby at the start of last season has been busy with new signings & with another announced this morning takes the tally to 9 so far.
Obviously reinforcements were needed & the good thing is that this 9 have Premier league experience already or played in the Southern hemisphere, so all 9 will contribute from the start thankfully.
Still a long way to go to hold our own but hopefully these 9 add the know how to stop the spankings we got last season, we also need an experienced coach to come in & shape an identity but things are happening which should benefit the team & development squad.
