sk3forme Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Was at the game tonight and was expecting a lot more than 5 minutes. Got home and just watching the first eight minutes of the second half. The Vardy free kick after 15 seconds was 1.45 of no play. Then the Mahrez shot over the bar with Myhill sitting down was 2.25 with no play so there is four minutes before the 53rd minute. So the two goals and six subs that were made after this plus all the west brom time wasting goal kicks and throw ins only add up to one minute. Mike Dean should not be a premier league ref.
Danizen Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 You're watching it again?! Voluntarily?! Are you mad?
Tuna Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Their goalkeeper seemed to waste about 50 minutes all on his own.
Dan Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Should've been at least 7. Never seen timewasting like it. Pathetic officiating performance from Dean in-particular who let them off with it all game. Refs in this league are so easy to play.

It was just 1 minute in the first half and West Brom wasted at least that on just one throw.
The whole world smiles Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Tony Pulis's West Bromwich side are a ugly, ugly side to watch; time wasting in the first half at 0-0 against a side currently in the bottom 3. I know he has been brutally effective at Stoke and now WBA but you can understand why baggies fans get a bit disillusioned with those kind of tactics week in week out.
David Hankey Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 It didn't matter whether it was 5 minutes or 5 hours Leicester were never going to score again. It's no good berating the opposition for their time-wasting tactics as if the tables were reversed we would do exactly the same. The simple fact is we were nowhere near good enough to break down a mediocre side who came he for a point. Leicester City needed a win and unfortunately Mahrez's goal has only succeeded in delaying the inevitable outcome for Shakespeare.
fazzyfox Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 You always always get skanked for the time you're entitled to so you can see why these teams do it. In the Liverpol v Man Utd game into added time Utd make a further substitution, walking off slowly taking ober 50 seconds. The Liverpool players and crowd shout at the ref who arrogantly points at his watch to indicate it will be added. 11 seconds after the MINIMUM announced time has elapsed he blows for full time...just a minute after promising to add a further 50! Probably scared of Mourinho had there been a goal in that time. A lot has been made of the debate regarding Utd, "tactically clever", "good away point" etc, but what kind of potential champions can be scared of the ball being in play and base their game on doing everything they can to avoid it being in play, having spent what they have. The minute he brings in Herrera for Mata you know what you're going to get.
Buce Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Probably the officials couldn't bear to watch any more.
