Very good shout. Despite myself being very nearby, I’d make a big case for Narborough. Wigston as well but might be too chav

The big garden at the back lost its character years ago. Used to be a nice green place to have a few pints but now its full of "pub furniture" & other crap.

Now I know what Deano means I’d put the dovecote and Narb Arms up there - both terrible “village pubs”

Just googled the Narborough Arms and I can totally see why  Greene King pub too to add insult to injury. Bet Madri sells well there!

Now we're talking about Deano pubs, I'l throw in Moorings Barrow and White Hart Quorn. Maybe White Horse in Quorn too.

Deano is pure south of the city isn't it.

 

Most Deano pub could be different though. Pear Tree in Woodhouse Eaves used to be pure unadulterated Deano. I worked at the Badgers Sett about 15 years back and the slightest bit of sun would make it Dawn of the Deano

Yes the Deanos love the Pear Tree! Especially their girlfriends- very Instagramable!

 

Also the Manor in Quorn works in just the same way as the Badgers Set!

The Anchor in Burbage is full of Deano’s  especially on Saturday, despite being a 2 minute walk I avoid at all costs.
