Had this in the R&D Arms a couple of weeks ago and yes it's very nice. Do they still produce Beacon? Haven't seen it in ages and always thought it was a very nice light bitter but the kind of beer that doesn't get drunk loads any more.

Nah it’s no longer made.

Tiger Triple Gold. The best limited edition pint Everard's have ever done.

Where is this on?

Found it at my local Everard's gaff in Derbyshire. Assume it's in all of their pubs as it's their 175th anniversary beer.

In the Hero in Maida Vale, I expected it to be polished but this is too polished for Miquel. Packed to the rafters with Americans n all, I'm a celebrity get me out of here imo

Nice porter on cask from Deya tho

Head down to the Bear in Paddington. Or even the Victoria but again a polished place,

Did Union Tavern Westbourne Park, Fuller's gaff but surprisingly odd two guests on, I'd have been happy with Pride or ESB in one of their gaffs but had a very nice porter from Orbit then an ESB for a laugh. Can see how it'd get heaving in the summer, must've been 40+ folk eating outside by the canal today, lovely sunshine but it ain't alfresco weather baby!

Pint of Broken Dream at 6.5 by Siren on cask in Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, might be my pick of their bunch tbh, lad behind the bar seems to live there and is always very good.

Then a couple of Landlords in the Duke which I only did a first go at pre Christmas, remember @bovril giving it the thumbs up, a really great gaff and pushing one of my favourites in London now

Not the most sessionable choices there. Impressed you can still type.

Met @bovril today pre-match in the Cittie of Yorke on his recommendation, great pub and thoroughly nice chap.

Was interesting being in such a cavernous and totally empty pub. Felt like someone was going to bring out a copy of Magna Carta for us to sign.

One of the Norwegians said it might be the best pub he’s ever been to.

Ah great. It's a beautiful place for sure.

Best places to drink near Bank? I've got 2-8pm tomorrow to kill, heading to the Ned first for a meal. Train 8:45pm from Euston.

The only one I know is the Counting House, which has a great interior. Fullers pub, so well kept beer but no real range. Don't really know the area and I don't think it's great for pubs. Closer to Kings X and Euston you get some good ones.

Just chilling at out hotel in Cologne with a Früh Kolsch radler.

Developed a taste for the Kolsch and Altbeir last June.

Altbeir just shaded it.
