Works day out in London.

Iron Brew vault city sour beer was fantastic, Craft beer pub in Oxford St.

Did Virtual reality squid games in Sandbox, was really good once you got used to it.

Lots of pubs shut for "private parties" which was a pain.

Did the Craft Beer Co gaff in Farringdon myself today, really nice little place that was heaving come 12.45, great range of beers as per from them. 42nd "new" pub of the year in London, one more visit next Friday then slowing down considerably in 2025.

Suttons Arms was still fantastic as ever but the longer the night went on nearer Old St the more the Xmas parties and reservation signs came out.

Got two compliments on my jawline on Bumble, a net positive day.

Had three in Sheff while navigating the great British rail system and all it's foibles en route to Leeds. Christmas parties already occupying serious floorspace

Where did you go?

Just had a festive stout from Stancil in the Bath Hotel in Sheffield with my old man, shite weather outside - might be the most perfect pint I've had for all key metrics

My favourite in the city centre. Fagans gets the plaudits but the Bath (perhaps Red Deer) is the better all rounder.

Red Deer is still solid enough but the beer offering has dropped off. It’s quite samey now.

Ah that’s a massive shame.

I couldn't fault it today man. Plan was to do a bit of a crawl but the weather put paid to that. Ended up just doing Rutland / Vocation before the Bath and stayed in there for 6 pints it was that fantastic. Been before and its always great but something about today was phenomenal.

Sheffield is better than Leeds

Low key bonus of Christmas time is there being dark stuff on tap more often. Still not enough about for my liking mind.

Cafe Krom sorry @Manini

I love it here. Steer clear of the main drag and just spend your time around south, west and Jordaan, tremendous. Don’t want to come home. European Beer Guide has come in real handy too so thanks for the heads up there.

Any good online beer places that stock a decent craft range?

Real ale or craft beer? If the latter I would recommend house of trembling madness and fuss club.

Stable Ales in Melbourne is worth a visit if you can get out there. Has a tap room as well so double whammy.

They have a website as well

After reading the opinions of some key players I'm going to have to try out Bath Hotel in Sheff next weekend on the annual Joe Carnall Xmas show trip.

Can't believe I've never heard of this place. Been about 5 years since i've been in the Rutland Arms as well, will have to have a festive pint in there as well.
