They're going to have to pay well over the odds for him- £30m+ for a player who got a couple of goals and assists in the Championship. Puts the Maddison deal into perspective, definitely think we've got the better one.

It’s going to be the deal of the season - he’s exactly what we’ve needed ever since the title win and (unfortunately) £24m is nothing in this crazy market.

June: "What are we doing, £23m is an obscene amount of money on a championship player"

August: "£23m.... yeah good deal"

Shows how mental the market is. lol

Money means nothing in this league now. We're in a position where we can turn down a world record bid for a defender without batting an eyelid.

Jack Grealish is a poor mans Ross Barkley and look how he has fell from grace.

Yep; I would give the club the same advice I would give my daughter if she mentioned his name. AVOID!!!

The Guardian singing his praises and saying he deserves his big move...

Also, apparently Spurs bid £25m because Villa said that was his value, then they said he's not for sale.

Go ahn Villa, wind em up!

On the one hand 25m for him would be great business by Villa, on the other hand that level of shithousery is to be applauded
