Expecting a comfortable win for Uruguay. They can't be as bad as their first game, Saudis are really awful.

I have Gimenez in my fantasy team. So a win to nil and a goal for him would be nice if playing.

Uruguay to thrash Saudi Arabia 6-1.

 

The Saudis were appalling against Russia and seeing that everyone rates Uruguay higher, it‘s dead and buried. The South American physicality will be too much to handle.

 

Suarez and Cavani running riot, with a hattrick each.

Decent is pushing it somewhat, lol they look competitive in a rather boring (shock) game.

 

People read into to one off results a bit too much, the opening game of the tournament was poor from both sides but they were in it and just collapsed towards the end, it wasn't a 5-0 game. They qualified better than Australia and South Korea, they are essentially not very good, but aren't some San Marino type team that are going to lose to everyone 6-0.

Given their squad, competitive is all you could ask for from them.

It is really not that bad that they will be happy about losing 1-0 to Uruguay and holding their own.

 

Most of them play for that Al-Halil side or whatever they are called and they're one of the best teams in Asia, which is not quite the hollow title it used to be given the invasion of European and South American players into a few of those leagues and predominately China.

 

They are obviously not great side in terms of being at a World Cup Finals, but they'd not of been the worst team on paper to do well at a World Cup finals put it that way. Especially given the group, I think they've probably not played as well as they would have liked (against Russia esp),  everyone in that group probably fancied it.

Saudi leader sat in Royal box fist bumping Putin. 

 

Saudis shipping five goals to bang average Russia. 

 

Saudis kicking the shit out of Russia's only real competition in the group.

Saudis laid down for Russia and gave Uruguay a game.

Egypt their own poor effort against Russia.

 

My guess, we’ll see a nice gentlemens’ draw on Monday, and all passports will be returned.
